I asked the question a while back, and got jack... Guess I'll have to try it and see http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...ead.php?t=38031 TT

Reminds me of my bike days when they leave some tings out of certain models. Working on the theory they just leave the bit off, and everything else including the program is there I'm going to test with an old "Environmentally friendly" Daikin A/C sensor. I have chart for that and I bet if I just plug it onto the same terminal the BNR32's use, then bingo it will work.... If not I'll just use an AUX terminal via my datalogit FC-Box. I think this will work because when we set up a multi sytem A/C we write a program for the sytem with the most components and just down grade it for the smaller jobs I'll let you know the outcome... TT

My R32 does not have a sensor. BNR32's do, but dunno what one looks like. If you wish just fit a 20kohm job from bosch. Thats what I'm about to do.... The PFC's tend to carry over stuff from model to model, so I wont be suprised if it works perfect. Good Luck TT

What is the part number on the side please?? Cheers

Just go back to basics... Like you just picked up the car from a shonky grease monkey... Check everything - never assume. You will find the problem, and the sound will be ....doh! Good Luck

32 GTSt PFC owners please help!!!
Targa Tom replied to Chris32's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
When You by the FC-Datalogit, you are paying for the R & D and support. They can update your Datalogit via email. The main thing you need is the FC-Box. I have the latest version of the RB20 and works a treat. (Same PFC V as you have) Finding it hard to tune the circlip though... TT -
A quicky... Is anyone using a wideband sensor to track A/F Ratio? Wheredyagetit? Brand? About how much? TT

We have two systems... One a car a Blitz dual solenoid set-up and the other a Apexi intergrated model. With the Apexi job you need DataLogit to get full on switching... using HC will make it slitely clumse. Having said that, the control is more seamless when using all one stuff. IMO, Apexi, just because it is designed to go together. Ciao

We had the same drama as blind_elk... That loop in the loom caused problems. The INJ/IGN is purely for testing if you want to index your whole map by 5deg then the thing will look like this; Adj - '+5' Map - '15' Fin - '20' or Adj - '-5' Map - '15' Fin - '10' In this screen the "Fin" is your actual timing, the "Map" is the number in the node position. Turn off ign and it resets to default. In Monitor mode your HC should mirror your timing light. good luck Ciao TT

Wet weather tyres
Targa Tom replied to SeriesIIGTST's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
I must warn you I am a Dunlop sponsored driver, Having said that a guy I know ran TT04 in an GT3 with the 9000 series tyres... He can drive a bit, but not a gun. He didn't crash and raved about the wet weather grip. I think a GT3 makes the same numbers as a reasonable Datsun. Hope this helps. TT -

Yes Lavers, When I got my bottom lip out of the gravel this year, we decided to give it one more shot. Made a couple of decisions in the wrong direction this year. (Tearing into a !!R2 @ 160kph+ was another one LOL). We considered a 4WD, but looking to get a boat instead. I am trying to get the little girl ready for Basky, cos looks like my next project in Korea has been defered for a couple of months. Say good-eh next time you see us... TT

Had always thought RX7 were the go... had read many forums in the past, but when you are doing other programs it is all information that wont fit on my nearly full hard drive (I had to forget my parents names so I could remember to change gears in a manual again). Will start the search now... TT PS: Had some joy with dump skyd, even though deal not yet closed.

Thanks G, I had heard the RX type were drop in's. I think the std ones I have are about 280, so 550 should be ample. We will run between 200 - 230rwkw I expect. Have seen 212rwkw, but thought we had better pull back a bit till we got a few things "safer" I have no idea what the 2.4 will do, but I am mainly looking for mid-range anyhow.. Do you have a ball park on price for those injectors? Tom
-
I am about to spend some hard earned on larger in jectors for my RB20DET. At the moment they go to lunch (100%) at about 6200. This is OK as the engine doesn't hurt its self and we run it fairly conservative up top anyhow. However, we are giving the old girl her circuit race debut next month and this will mean much more WOT. I want a drop in replacement, keeping in mind that she might be getting a 2.4 cubes to satify soon. Thanks for your help

Skyd is spot on when he says they are easy.... well easy to get close anyway. There is also a ignition and injector fudge. This will alter the whole range by a percentage. You can do a run, change it in the direction required and back to back your new settings. If they are an improvement, go and sit in the carpark and punch in the new settings... NB This "Tuning Mode" disables when you turn the ignition off. Some reasonable dyno owners will let you do it while they wander off and do an oil change or something.... After all, if they go to school on your car, they are better off when the next PFC rolls in the door. My guy is, and now he reckons PFC's are grouse. Previously he was trying to get me to shell out on Autronic or Motec. (These V8supercar guys just need to be led a little, eh skyd) Tom

As far as I know, the RB20 manifold is as good as even most AM jobs. Back to Back testing has shown that on a 20 they are very hard to beat. "if it aint broke.... Tom

The lions mob had pics of (i think) peter moores car from an event in Vic somewhere... For me, they could have argued the case regarding mesh (bumpers can be a replica if they follow the lines of OEM - mesh is part of the bumper, and could have been left out) The strut brace could be argued is part of the suspension - mounting points must remain the same....??? But water spray???? D1ck Heads! Batam Indonesia - Jay Ray's Yard on the Belanak Natuna FPSO Ciao
