  1. You ripper... Are you running your EBC with the PFC? If so which pin number is the signal loop for the Waste Gate Control Solenoid? Hope you can help.... Regards Tom
  2. Am I the only person on the planet who is "Actually" interested in, or trying to hook an Apexi EBC to a AP Eng. PFC on a R32(RB20DET)?? If there is anyone else out there who has done it I would love to hear from them.... Also any one who has actually tuned a car in this configerfation, please get in touch. Regards Tom PM me if you are shy
  3. LOOKED EVEN ON AP Engineering Site. Surely someone out there must be running RB20DET PFC and a EBC that can tell me where the solenoid gets supplied from... (Well, a link to ground. The Solenoid is powered constantley - as is the AC idle up solenoid.) Maybe I just plug EBC into ACC so if I turn on the A/C the boost will increase... This is becoming desperate Regards Tom
  4. Unfrortunately I bought the PFC second X Japan. Hence no manuals. I have however done a search and found that the GT-R waste gate control is on Pin 25. In my car (HCR32) that has no wire to the loom. My PFC has a boost control socket, and I know some people run Apexi EBC on this model, even though the catalogue has no listing. Will look for Japanese information and give babble fish a run. May need to take you up on that offer. Regards
  5. Thanks Cam, Apexi dont do R32 stuff in the states, hence no English manuals... even the generic one for PFC is to suit an RX7. This is a HCR32 specific PFC. Cheers anyway Ciao
  6. Well maybe not... Q./ When hooking Apexi PFC to RB20DET (HCR32) with EBC. Which Pin out is the solenoid wire. Is it #25 (Waste Gate control Solenoid on BNR32). Thanks Guys
  7. Only highlights then the one hour special on 10. Tapes are available with additional footage, but its best to get on the Spirit... Come and see what happens in Tassie. At least we can drive more than 300mtrs without traffic lights and trams INASNT. TT
  8. you are Roy... Had 3 in front of us and 10 behind us last year, so we just have to get our time/k down and put a couple more behind us... JR hasnt been pushed yet. And before all the SG fans jump down my neck, by pushed I mean having to chase someone, so we wonder how much he has up his sleeve. Sullens, Garwood, Richards - maybe not in that order. Stokell top 5. Brock, White ones to cause panic. Thanks Roy, Will post our news page so you can link it during the event TT
  9. Official entry list as at 19/03/04http://www.targa.org.au/downloads/applicat..._mar19_2004.pdf Targa Web Page http://www.targa.org.au. 11. I think Skid meant all his skylines have the HICAS removed. Another kit option is available. It consists of a piggy back for the HICAS computer and two lock rings to make rear rack solid. The down side is no extra fuel lines and still quit a bit of additional weight. Upside is if you want to put it back... too easy. Hope it helps
  12. Hi Have one with clean shaft seal that I ran on R413a (Isceon 49) before I pulled it out... Ran fine. Just remember to install new filter drier when replacing, and do all removed o'rings weather you think they need it or not. Regards
  13. That has throw the schedule out... FYI the number on my PFC is "PFC R32 - A0016" but cannot find a serial number. The control has "FCC N19609 - 0355" Thanks Skyd. Will PM now... Thanks hardly seems enough, my girl friend asked - "Can't you borrow one to try... "Do you have any idea how many of these are in Tassie you dopey bla bla bla " says me. Once again I have followed the golden rule and made it the navigators fault. Thanks again guys Regards TT
  14. Bought a second PFC and commander a couple of months back for my R32 GTSt (RB20DET). Due to mad beginnign to year we have just installed... as per english manual off US site. Question; If you plug in Commander and it just comes up "backlit" and with no APEXI logo, does that mean quick order a new one? Any advice accepted. Thanks for your help
  15. A couple of guys have the idea... raw fuel is injected into the hot exhaust and explodes keeping the turbo spooled up for extended periods of trailing throttle (which in the environment it is designed for amounts to durations measured in 10ths of seconds before WOT). If you are changing gears better than most grannys you wont get jack from A/L If it is so important buy an auto. As fro launch, just another driver aid. Is it going to be you that sets this target time with all the electronic trickery, or are you going to attribute the time to the software boffins @ ECU HQ.

  20. What ever happened to making an offer. If I put a price and some one who really wants them will think... man that is a bargin, then I miss out. If you think you want them, please make an offer. I wont be insulted, and you just might own a set of shocks. Regards
  21. Just ordered a set of DMS shocks. The before sale advice and obvious experience won me. Now I have my Teins which I ran in Targa Tasmania last year for sale. With the DO1J Dunlops they were great, not perfect, but good enough to finish 24th with a 115rwkw S-t http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...ead.php?t=34617 if you're looking for a set. TT2004 #832

And if you factor in by 1.5 for quality info, you could stay there for some time...LOL Got a PFC for the RB20 last week X Nippon, can it support an EBC, if so what model? Love your work...
