  1. I think I read somewhere that this was subbed to another company by Apexi... Where would I start looking to source one and do they come with commander??? Are they EBC compatable?? Any help appreciated Ciao.... Tom
  2. Does membership run fiscal or financial year?
  3. When our current club sub runs out we can join SAU? At least my sub will go to people who give some value for it... Ciao PS Have international rally R5 me thinks...
  4. Looks like he's off to get a paper and the milk to me....
  5. Clint32, No... I just bought a Jap AM diff to suit HCR32. Much more savage, but we wasn't looking for a daily driver. If I went to all that trouble, it would still be in there.. LOL Ciao
  6. Clutch pack type diff centre. R32 GT-R OEM job. I know these are hard to get, cos I chased one for weeks. This is surplus to requirements... I also have 4.111:1 crown wheel and pinion in R33 Housing (has large front holes compared to R32. A "reasonable offer will buy these" Regards
  7. Can anyone tell me if they have heard or scene any AM adjustable sway bars to suit R32. Would prefer blanks that we can adapt to cab adjusters This should get you interested skyd... do you have a set yet? Tom
  8. Surplus to requirements R32 Bomex front bar. Has been re-inforced with carbon at mounting points. Packed in Bumper box for shipping by your nominated carrier. $AUD400.00 ono PICS HERE Bar is painted Gunmetal (KH3) and can be viewed at this link to my Web Page.... Box Size 1780 x 680 x 470 This is good buying ! :uh-huh: For more pics e me... Also RB20DET Screamer Dump Pipe for Sale Genuine buyers please PM, this is not an auction
  9. Not sure... But if I had to upgrade my car, I would probable consider building another one. Or just buy something that complies.... I know the HCR32 can get us round and with some decent suspension and intake, along with a few things we learned this year... we can run in the top 20 without taking any risks. Just not sure how much faster again I could go in a BNR32, remembering the name of the game is 8/10's. Just you have to race guys like Glenney who's 8/10's is bloody quick! The exsisting supregs are to rewrote for 2004 so keep your eye on 'em. Later
  10. Use this link the >"dates" Put this in your favourites... And Duncan, beware the ever changing rules!!! Next year full fia spec cages for instance which means double diagonal and diagonal in the roof section... dont know how that will effect log booked cars, but may well be a pain in the arse! Ciao
  11. The minimum contribution by our commercial partners was quit substantial. By running decals - and there isn't a lot of room - it devalues the investment by our partners. Having said that, our service vehicle carried all our product supporters and those others who helped make the event possible... With this in mind and the excellent quality of 99.9% of this site, we will find a spot for a decal supporting it. And here is a thought, get a few Skyline Owners together and go to tassie in 2004. Enjoy the event, red wine, and roads... and with a bit of luck, a certain horse trainer may take the next step... Ciao TT#832
  12. Thats us floody... And now its all over till next year... 25th overall and class winners. Knocked off a few 4wds in the wet too which is a good feeling. Ciao
  13. Dont believe the media... or pro drivers for that matter! PB told his crew waiting on the side of the road he didnt require fuel... They had to run the Monaro that light it required fuel after every Stage!! Steven Glenney is an outstanding talent! But he has car deficiency. Jason White is a talent, but their high tech trickery and weight saving anticks prevents him giving a good show! (No spare in car??? then having to drive very hard on transport stages not to miss late time.... ) We had a crack at the big T this year. A bog stock GTS-t... I havent checked but think we went OK. The car doing eight laps on the track B4 turning a wheel for the first time in anger at the prologue. Think there may have been a few 4wds slower in the wet too And you know the best thing about Targa... the fans, standing in the pissing rain. I Salute them! Ciao

    Help

Thanks to Racepace Motorsport in Melbourne I managed to get a diff... and used it to good effect. Ciao
  15. Guys, A Deisel Kiki, or Nippon compressor has RRP of $1000+. Nippon Air in Melb can rebuild them for an authorised fitter and that will mean wnty. I have seen my fair share of A/C comps... fitted hundreds actually and my tip is... the wreckers are always a punt. You outlay $400 and then six months later booooom... another $400!!! That adds up to a re-manufactured one with oil to compliment latest type gasses Ciao
  16. Hope you got out of your diff man... sorry to root ya round!!! I Got a GT-R one so bolts straight in Later dude
  17. and all this time I thought the slow in fast out was the go... think i'll put sprintcar wings on the M spec for Targa and back it in... better still forward this to Glenney Whitey Garwood Richards and Co.... that way us mortals wont look so slow Later
  18. Personally I use RBF600 and a Symmons plains the nations best brake test track it helps sqeeze the ebc reds just fine. As i understand the dry boiling point is good, but the wet one is the kicker... it gives an insight into how well the fluid works when dirty. the DOT number is relative to the base chemical... and its ability to retain moisture. Motul, every bit as good as Castrol SRF... and elf and brembo (rebadged motul)... Keep on stoppin
  19. RE: HCR32 - RB20DET There are a couple of threads regarding engine temp, but they dont seem to have closure. I recently holed an exhaust valve at a track day... Stock ECU, havent checked stat yet, and 6 range iridiums. I put it down to the 30°C ambient and the wrong plugs... plus a lot of WOT. My mate has the problem of hoses bursting after a warm down lap and some time in the pit box. Will a lower (ie 62°C) thermostat help. Do the BNR32 type coolers create this problem for the RB20DET's... what temp is the stat in a RB26DETT... are they the same physical size. Any input appreciated :homer:
  20. The Whites will be there!!!! I would imagine as I type John is standing bake throwing more money at the event.... LOL From my observations, it is the toreque that gives the porsche an advantage... Best people to ask would be Jim, Targa and Greg Garwood.... they have all made the switch... Me, I reckon a HCR32 is the go. Which reminds me better go and do some more work... race is now only FOUR WEEKS AWAY  Ciao

    Still Looking... anyone??

    Help

Can anyone help me with a LSD for my HCR32 It is a race against time and a diff is required. Something out of a gtr would be great... or aftermarket. Multi-disc(clutch) type Only require actual centre Do NOT require Viscous type Fingers Crossed....
  23. Ah Mr Glenny, Yes if he continues to attack Targa the way he did last year he will increase his fan base... of which I am one. The only trouble with Targa is it only rewards you for where you finish!! This bloke who calls himself "Targa".... should be "BP" - the quite achiever..... I think he is (hope you aren't affended easy G) an older bugger and he has the missers callng the notes. I would say - can drive a bit and has the results on the board. There are a lot of GT-R's running this year, and I bet one or two finishes in the boonies And yes Targa I will be trying to prevent the red mist.... Having raced motorcycles for a few years, I remmember my first trip to Oran Park. Drove all night from Qld... and finished on my arse at turn two lap one of Sundays first race... LOL No refunded entry and no prize money... just another red eye back to Qld. Anyhow gotta do some more work otherwise mine wont be there Ciao:)
  24. ONLY WHAT YOU PUT INTO IT..... I decided I wanted to do the event 10 years ago... or maybe even at the first one I thought "this is cool... It has become more expensive every year since... Our Budget for 03 is $AUD30k. But includes one off purchases like the car and seats etc. We intend to do it for three years. and I would suggest it will become about $15k/year. I raced international sprint karts in Oz 20 years ago and they were costing that.... So I think for a 500 k race per day for 5 days plus a prolog it is cheap!!!! Dont just talk about it... do it!!! You're a long time dead and the last time I looked they dont bury money or realestate... only memories Ciao
  25. Because of the nature of trhe event and Tassie's limited OBU's you will only see a little on the Box. Southern Cross TV hold the rights and copyright to any footage from the event. They do a good highlights vid which usually has added footage...ie 2002 has the whole of the sidling from onboard with Steven Glenny (SA) Gt-R The best way to enjoy it is do what I am doing SHUTO-BOY throw a cage in your car, con your girlfriend into sitting in the Jesus seat and going to see why "Targa" has done this rally heaps and some others as well.... I'm tipping it will be a hoot. The other way is pop on the spirit of Tassie and follow the event for a couple of days... I've been away from Tas for 20 years, but the roads still amaze me C-YA
