If you wanna go down the "cutting" road, you'll have to get an AC controller as the existing one is "embedded" to the main pcb board. As far as I know, they are not cheap if you get them separately(around 500$). You may also need a system interface kit if you want your factory BOSE amplifier create a bond with aftermarket stereo and a few cables
