Cheers guys, your advice is appreciated, the car is factory turbo, bog stock with an auto and 4.3 final drive. It has had a tiny bingle, just enough to crack the front bumper and LHS headlight surround and dent/bend the bonnet. No damage to intercooler or radiator from what i can see. My mates dream was to dress it up with a bodykit, new paint, wheels and make it hammer so my plan is to start with the body and then the suspension/brakes. Would also love to fit a manual transmission if its not too much stuffin about (although the std auto is surprising, mainly due to the 4.3 diff im guessin) No hurry though, i'll have it for the rest of my life. Since i posted here initially ive been trawling the net and am amazed by the amount of aftermarket gear available. Hard to know whats what so im hoping to catch up with a few owners locally up here in Mackay and get the low down

Thanks Jordan, first thing im doing is the body and then brakes/suspension. The performance in standard form is good enough for now but i have a feeling that once the body work and suspension are sorted i'll want some more ponies. I do have a few questions; Is there anyone you can recommend to supply and fit a body kit (doesnt seem to be many options for 4 doors) here in Mackay?? Are there any workshops that specialise in Skylines in Mackay?? And where would i start looking for things like chrome door trims (got one missing) and new headlights, grill badge etc, are there any wreckers who specialise in nissans??

Just down the road at Freshwater Pt near Armstrongs Beach, just inherited a 4 door from my mate who passed away. Joined this forum cos i know f all about skylines but after driving the thing home from Bowen i can understand why you all love em. Will be slowly restoring it to its former glory as time and funds permit

Hi guys, I have recently inherited a standard 93 R33 4 door from my best mate who recently passed away. I would like to do all the things he wanted to do to the car. To do this i need some help with a few things. Firstly, is there someone in Mackay who specialises in tuning skylines? Secondly, im looking for a good straight bonnet and front and rear bumpers (or bodykit) Please forgive me if i ask any stupid questions as i know jack about skylines. Can the car in standard form be tuned for extra performance?
