    Yeah had it done a while ago, cant remember the code, but the mechanic said it was the bank 1 camshaft sensor, so i had it changed $300-400 for the part.

    I had this exact same issue, scanned it, was camshaft sensor bank one, had it changed and has not come back since, does your car also feel like its less powerful and maybe even stalls sometimes?

    Sup Does anyone know how to remove this screen? It came like it from Japan and does not work. I want install a double DIN but am not sure how to go about it or what the best kit is.     ok sweet, so would you happen to know if i would need an alternative to PAC ROEM-NIS2 , as i do not have the bose system, or any steering wheel controls for that mater. Also is the install process really tedious? ive only ever changed single din on my prelude so i wouldn't really know what to except with a double DIN

    i like it mate, i want to do the same thing to mine, how much was it all up for everything? Also will that head unit fit in the non Bose/premium package and would you happen to know if the installation is the same (since i do not have dual air con) Cheers

    Thanks for that, was it the bank 1 position sensor that went for you? Also rough estimate on how long it took to change would be good

    Turns out its the cam sensor aswell, how much did it cost u to fix?

    no worries thanks for the input guys, yeh hope thats all it is, the mechanic specializes in skylines so i hope he will do. Excuse my ignorance but what is a Consult 3? The only light that remains on the whole time is the immobilizer.. so did it stall and oil pressure light come on for any of you when SLIP light was on?

    unless these cars can stall when in limp mode/slip and VDC lights on because its such low revs but i got no idea

    yeh oil level is fine, im in canberra, just really wanna make sure it will be ok to drive to the mechanic on wednesday, the light only came on once like a said they car stalled, i started it back up and made it home without it coming on again which is a 30 min drive, 40 mins to mechanic though

    was driving home yesterday and the oil pressure light came on at idle and car stalled.. maybe that could be why its going into limp mode/slip light coming on. Major service was only done in november with the oil and filter changes, so i hope its not the oil pump and just a sensor, not hearing any unusual sounds either.

    Hello, Taking the v35 to a mechanic next week, but would like to know if anyone has had a similar problem and would like to know how much im looking at to fix. Out of know where the VDC, SLIP and Immobilizer light all came on, power is reduced, (seems like it is in limp mode, revs will not go over 3an a half) and it is very irritating. I have tried disconnecting the battery, checked brake pads and all fluids, was not doing any irrational driving so i cannot understand why its happening. After the car is turned off for at least 20 mins, and switched back on the only light that is always on is the immobilizer which is stock, then with out fail they all go back within about 10 mins, and no power again. The car will then hesitate to start whilst those lights are on. Anyone at all had something similar happen? Appreciate the replies.

    Hello SAU Just got my 350gt, love it! Only problem is that there is the Error FO being displayed and a CD is stuck. An aftermarket mounted screen is where the pop-up one use to be (came like this from Japan) but it does not turn on or display anything, aircon and climate work fine so far, not too concerned that the CD player does not work as there is another aftermarket one been fitted where the DVD player was on the left. Would anyone have any idea as to why screen is not working, and how difficult these cars are to open it up and have a look? Much appreciated.

    Test driving both this weekend mate. I obviously would like the better/more reliable one, thats why i asked if there are any known problems with either model. Transmission preference is my second priority.. and i wouldnt call them "very different" if it is only minor physical appearances that they differ in. Unless there is something else you can tell me about why they are so different? Cheers.
