The engine was in fine operating condition when removed and compression is excellent as above. The engine includes Complete long motor (sealed and still built from factory) head and block inc sump cam covers etc(never opened) The engine also includes standard plenum, standard balancer, injector loom. Does not include injectors, coil packs any other wiring, fuel rail, flywheel, any hot side parts. Pics will be up soon. Hi Guys Our warranty procedure is pretty clear in that the item must be returned back to base for any work to be done. The item is still under warranty Joe and warranty on the turbocharger is still available though in most circumstances if the turbo has been pulled down alot of things can be changed that in the repair would not usually be viewable and this would generally void warranty. The turbocharger had been sent back to the shop before where it was pulled down and there was no problems at all other then reported. We advised that you take the turbo to a local shop as you did not want to send it all the way up to the shop in QLD for us to view it for it to only be reported that it was not faulty as it was last time as you needed your car on the road. If GCG have advised that a repair is required then under warranty Murnane Motors must be the shop to do the repair to it. All warranty return procedures are listed on the website and have been there since its inception. You have been advised via email on the warranty procedure. If you would like a refund on the item then that is available for the purchase price less postage and housings as advised also via email to retrieve from Murnane Motors which i doubt would be a problem though if you just ask the manufacturer im sure they would give you a straight answer. It does seem as if you just don't want to send the turbo back. The warranty procedures are common practice amongst all manufacturers in that they must be returned to the manufacturer for repair. Aaron used to be at the shop working on the turbo's with Sheldon the owner purely to try and keep up with orders. Sliding Performance does not own the balancers or machining gear, Aaron was basically just the robot and on lots of occasions so were i just to help keep up with the mass of turbo's that were always required. The first time the turbo was seen to there was no problem with seals or anything that i can see in the notes i have. Just that there was discoloration from what apparently looked like minor oil starvation. Jase
