  1. List where you are staying people.
  2. I have a 40 foot for October and a 20 for December. If you plan to buy a car then i need to know yesterday.
  3. The escalator ride is also pretty amazing aswell as you are 173 meters above nothing lol
  4. When i went down to Nagoya to load the container i forgot the suitcases to throw in so i was f**ked and stuck with them till i left. I was lucky to hold onto it though otherwise i wouldnt have gotten away with a 3 Liter bottle of scotch that went unnoticed. Ryokans are pretty over rated. Unless they have a private onsen out in the gardens or are close to real hot springs they are a bitter disappointment for the cost. You are about 8 blocks away from the shopping strip.
  5. Organized a container Steve, Ill get the Int Lic to get a truck.
  6. Evey time i have gone to watch this i have been capped, its pretty funny and so are his other video's that i have now watched. The guy is a mega douche bag though. lol
  7. Yeah lol I arrive on the 5th now, had to change from the 1st yesterday. not to worry. Just spend a day in Seomon-Cho, The main shopping center is a double sided street over 2km long with the usual side alley's that go forever as well. Its a dangerous place if you are a brand whore like me. I stay in the Vista Grande which is in the middle of it and you really cant avoid wasting a few days there. The Skydeck is nice aswell for a 360 degree view. On clear days you can see Kyoto which looks really amazing from up there. I followed my suitcases down the stairs at Tanimachi 4-Chrome station that day. 40kg = shit landing and feeling like death. There is also Osaka Castle, Bamboo forest was amazing and freaky at the same time and also pretty far away. I kept thinking of Ninja's flying down from the tree's like in Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon. the country of origin is irrelevant lol i was still drunk and tripping out. Only blurred shots that morning. haha, Steve has just conned me into Nismo festival now so ill be over then also so that means i will likely get another container then too. I think ill be staying a little longer in December then Shaun and Steve though. I cant take a 5 day trip it needs to be 2 or 3 weeks. Especially when it takes 9 hours to get somewhere. I just need to avoid Nigerians like the plague.
  8. How long are you there? The second night i am in will be in Osaka with a few people for some drift and fun runs. There are usually some pretty sturdy roll cages to hold on to. The last time i was out there the run started with a head on with a AE80mangled so im hoping for a better run of luck this time. Running out of Sevens yet big fella? Back in less than a month. I'm up for a customs strip search. Ikeya themselves. Generally all manufacturers sell to the public. Nearly all the gear Ikeya make and sell is on hand all the time. If they say 40,000 yen say you will give them 35,000. They will more than likely look at you sideways and then just say ok ok ok. If you speak Japanese, don't. Some fun people there.
  9. I Did...........................................it got through. Will be meeting up with Uno in Sendai again and will hopefully get some nice street touge/drift footage.
  10. Ill give you $15 for a night out with ze Ando yah? haha bargain.
  11. More to come, that was a gig. Ridiculous. I will get to the drifting, circuit, and workshop stuff as i can. I'm back over in October, so no doubt will have more before i have even finished looking at or uploading things from June.
  12. There is so much unedited video, if i just uploaded it all without editing i would probably be banned from the internet and jailed upon return to Japan. Just a few, it takes ages at this quality up. This was the first couple of days and some train shenanigans on our way to Sendai. Haven't even seen the actual motor sport video i took yet. Be kind RE: the boyish good looks. Note, we were both hungover in most vids trying to be touristy. Steve's snoring messing with my dreams. The reason i had no sleep while Steve was with me for the first 10 days i was in japan in June. Steve Honda Station. Wish someone had of killed me so that i wouldn't have had to deal. Moe slurring and time wasting. Irrelevant jibba jab 60% of the time it works every time. Not much else to do on the train?
  13. I forgot about this thread. I still haven't even had time to look at the 6 hours of 1080p video taken. I don't even know how there was that much. Though there was quite a lot at Tomei and on the Irohazaka run. Will try and get the vids up soon. Tomei are still RB fans. They have just released new exhaust components that are on their way now which will be added to our line up very soon. The quality is the same as the Expreme manifolds and dumps. AMAZING!!! No there are no more of it, it was just a customer car that was in the picture with the 34. I'm not a fan of Silvia's. I will be back there in October and will be packing another container. If its there i will take a picture with me tying to pee on it. zing
  14. hahaha Sad but true.
  15. He is already running a Link and i believe he has said that cams have been ground to match the ITB's.
  16. I have done this conversion 3 times and the integration of the standard RB20 wiring loom into the S13 dash and fuse box etc generally only costs around $300 including the speedo adjustment. Check with a mobile auto electrician usually for a free quote.
  17. This image has been around for a long time and posted many times. I spoke with Hyobu Shibuki about this render in June which Top Secret were aware of and was told jokingly "that it was ridiculous, it has the Nardo 400 stickers on it not those ones shh" lol The vents on the fender tops look good, though smashed windscreens from track debris would get very old, very quickly.
  18. Buy mine............ They are the worst plates in QLD.
  19. No worries at all. PM Sent
  20. Hi Brett Let me know the size of the kit and contents, if its boxed or loose, and what location it is in. Also when it will be ready to send over. Aaron.
  21. ^^ All made by Top Secret, I saw them. They also make doughnuts Just some guy with a marble score of 20 something!!!!
  22. Yeah, it was literally bleeding rust, its been there for at least the last 2 years that i have seen.
  23. I thought that would get a few peoples panties stuck. I forgot about the thread sorry. Thinking that regular Skylines are somewhat of an investment is a bit of a laugh. If you are willing to pay $45000 for a 20 year old standard? car that can be purchased for much much less then go for it, its your money and i never wanted to stop anyone from paying more for the car they want. I simply stated that cars can be purchased for much less than what people are asking for them in Australia for very much the same quality. Accepting the car is old is one thing for people that own them to come to grips with, expecting them all to be in near new and perfect condition is definitely not to be another. There are plenty of good condition cars on offer though for prices that will not give your account balance and partner a brain tumor. Buying from a dealership will obviously inherit a larger price tag though having said that there is nothing to the above letting us know the extent of modifications done to the cars selling at the price you have said. If they are standard, that's unbelievable. I have an R32 GTR and an RX7 coming over now which was a basis for the above estimate with the R32 GTR costing me 310000 Yen. It is in good condition inside and out with a genuine 88k with log books and wont have a problem getting compliance and being registered and the car is very much standard. The comment about the engine being not important is a dig to most GTR owners that know me. Any person buying a car that is 20 years old must appreciate that the chances of the engine spinning a bearing or something oil related failing is a high probability sooner or later regardless of km's if the car is being used for anything more than to the shops every couple of days. A couple of track days will generally do damage to a lot of people's bank balances when these issues arise. There are a huge amount of people though that drive their car only 52 times per year on the last day of every week who may see an oil change each year and these cars are generally the ones in immaculate condition. In comparison to a lot of cars for sale here on the forums and carsales etc though i don't believe the above written to be crap at all. I offered the above as a matter of fact and opinion as along with the thread starter i believe the prices are stupidly high for all imports. If you are going to spend 45k on a GTR that is 20 years old go a bit further and visit Rocky Auto for some real GTR's. I don't know if there are any registered traders on SAU that actually specialize in importing or broking per say though there are plenty of brokers and importers that post in the import section who will lend a hand in finding them an helping you bring cars over for a fee. Plenty at auction all the time and many at yards in Japan. Having also just come back from Japan there are plenty at auction all the time in similar condition to the majority on Australian roads for the above prices. I can see how it may offend people stating the value of cars well under what most sell for though any car is worth what someone is willing to pay for it and in Japan with the right people what someone will only pay for it. I deal with brokers bringing cars over just like anyone else. (Parts is what Sliding Performance is about), its cheap enough to pay for a broker to deal with any issues that may occur outside your (could be bothered range). Profec B's in stock for $495 Delivered http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Tr...op-t188592.html I personally wouldn't use the word excellent in the same sentence with any import and didn't in the above. There is one gun metal R32 GTR on SAy that has been built from the ground up literally which may be the only occasion i would and it would also be the only car in close to standard form worth $45k with all the money and time spent on it. If you are after 4 cars i would definitely do it yourself, get yourself a 40 foot container, a broker, a return plane ticket and a welder and mount 2 cars on top of the 2 below and load them on a boat. I will be back in Japan in September and will be bringing a 40 footer over. If you are keen at this time and have located some cars in Japan or want to do it over there then let me know. If you are bringing them over to sell i would definitely recommend going to Japan to get them. Judging by the amount they are going for at the moment you will definitely be able to offset 10-20 trips selling them at the prices they are going for at the moment. There are also a few bargains always floating around in Australia with rolling R32 GTR shells for $3-6k, add an engine and gearbox and any parts required and you still have yourself a massive bargain compared to the norm. I'm not here to offend people, just to inform people that they should really consider private imports and speaking with a broker at the very least to save themselves a lot of money at the cost of a few months wait. i am also not here to sell cars guys so the above wasn't an advertisement either.

    Top Gear Oz

Did anyone notice The Stig in TG UK photo copy his head in the background in the start of Ep 2 Season 13 while they were arranging insurance? I had to rewind it and the lolling ensued at 2 minutes 57 seconds LOL
  25. The difference between short motors and long motors is simply the completion of the engine, be it bottom end or complete assembly.
