  1. Last year there were over 100 Skylines It would be good to know that QLD hasnt lost touch with each other as not much happens anymore.
  2. Unfortunately Beej has requested his turbo to be sent back to him as is. If he was to put another on though the same thing will happen. I will leave it dissasembled so that he can see the damage himself. $25 was paid to him to cover the postage of the turbo to me to have the turbo overlooked. Thanks for the support guys.
  3. I remember seeing it in Surfers heaps ages ago. Im sure if you search back on boost cruising for around then in the weekend pic threads you will find quite a few.
  4. I think it only right for me to show the report given on the turbo in question. I do not appreciate threats and public defamation. This is the first failure of its kind in over 800 highflowed turbo's. The only other failure on one of these highflows was a faulty thrust bearing and the turbo WAS covered under warranty for a member on this forum. Postage of the item was paid for by myself and was specified to be delivered by registered post. The repair costs of this turbo is $500 Aaron
  5. These were sold buyer fell through though. Painted with a gun professionally around 12 months ago
  6. This was a a front impact crash There is nothing available that is not in this thread. Pm sent
  7. Hey I wonder if it really is James Would be a funny return
  8. Hi Charly
  9. The above information is completely incorrect. These are not ball bearing highflows and must not have oil flow restrictions.
  10. Beej These are journal bearing highflows not ball bearing... I do not do ball bearing highflows for the simple fact that much larger Garrett items can be sold for less.
  11. Hi Beej It sounds like there wasnt enough oil being fed through the turbo and there has been bearing starvation. This is very important to have as the turbo runs on a constant layer of cylindrically fed oil flow to keep the shaft frictionless. All turbo's are balanced and speed tested on a Heinz VSR Balancer at low speed high load with constant oil flow to test for assembly errors. I always stress that it is only around $20 to have the oil modifications done professionally and have never had a failure. Please send the turbo with all banjo bolts and oil feedline back to me so that it can be investigated so i can find out the reason for its failure for sure. Please send me your bank details and i will cover the delivery costs. Aaron
