  1. Mora available in around 2 weeks time when our order comes in
  2. If your bulb type is the simple clip holding H1 style tyhen there will be no problem. The plastic screw on cap will need a hole drilled into it to feed the wiring from the HID though our units come with a rubber bung to fill the hole in with the wires that will come out of the screw cap to keep the unit water resistant.
  3. Must have a co-pilot position one of these days
  4. Can send to vic with TNT car freight. Will try get some tomorrow. haven't been to the garage since it was put in.
  5. Sorry mate R34 GTR is on the way.
  6. Will put them up this week.
  7. Having a baby, don't really want to die sorry. lol
  8. Nissan Skyline R33 GTST Year: 1993 Location: Gold Coast Website: Carsales, Skylines Australia, Boost Cruising Item Condition: Neck breaking head turner Reason for Selling: New car Price and Payment Conditions: $15000 ono $13900 Contact Details: 0405987261 This 1993 R33 GTST Skyline has been with me for 4 years, Previously with an RB3026 conversion it has since had a standard 80,000km engine and transmission conversion from a half cut. The car is now basically standard with the whole rear K Frame end having been replaced including diff, arms, shafts, hubs and everything else associated. The reason for this was that the whole drive line package previously in the car was sold together. The clutch has been changed to a heavy duty sports organic and flywheel machined and a complete oil and cleaning service done on diff, engine and gearbox. A 3" straight through exhaust with highflow cat has been fitted from the down pipe to cannon muffler. Front mount intercooler kit and pod filter have also been fitted. The car has been completed cosmetically with a full Nismo 400R style body kit including vented bonnet and genuine Nismo 400R plastic side skirts. Bilstein shocks with king low springs. A 42mm alloy radiator has also been fitted aswell as new Nismo master clutch cylinder and new slave with braided line, radiator hoses and heater core hoses aswell as new battery. In the lighting department there is also a set of new 10000k H.I.D's. The car has 18" 9.5" F-R Super Advan wheels with 90% tires which fill the guards the way they should and look amazing. The car has also just been cut and polished. Some pictures below Will put up some more pics shortly.
  9. I beleive the previous post stated we helped a lot to try and bring times from 3 montsh down in the waiting period. It was still an order purchase system and us being there did not change anything. We have not sold these for over a year now or contributed to the manufacturing of these turbo's in over 15 months. This line is long gone.
  10. Im sorry you feel that way, Sliding Performance did not manufacture these turbo's they were ordered through Murnane Motors who were the creators, this has been cleared up many times before though we helped in the process it was set up for Skyline owners to take advantage of a cheap turbo that bolted straight on and to keep up with orders help was there when necessary from Aaron and myself. Manufacturer warranty though means the item be returned to the manufacturer just like all HKS, Garrett, Apexi and all other turbo's manufacturered around the world. Unfortunately the manufacturer who at the time owned Murnane Motors sold the business and now operates out of a cave in Blackwater. New owners are great though sadly they do not make highflows anylonger at Murnane Motors. That part was taken with the old owner.
  11. Oil starvation at high shaft speeds can and would cause the shaft to decelerate alot, with the bearings spinning whilst the shaft does when there is starvation you get bearing drag which then in turn means the shaft is spinning the bearing which would cause a multitude of problems which happen in seconds from decel which can snap a comp wheel off at the shaft, this happens when the comp wheel grabs the housing. Shaft weights change with bearing drag which causes the turbo to be out of balance which looks like what happened above. It is the same reason why you would spin a bearing in your motor, too much oil in the head not enough to lubricate the bearings.
  12. The main reason for journal bearing turbo failure is oil contamination or oil starvation. This is where the bearings are either starved of oil and metal touches metal and where contaminants come between the shaft and bearing making the frictionless bearing system not so frictionless, in turn the bearings grab the shaft and your left with what looks like a train crash. No residual manufacturing defect can really cause problems for a turbo a year down the track. Cheap Chinese turbo's have hub explosions and bent shafts etc from the cheap cartridges and backing plates either cracking or warping from heat soak, this has never been the case with any highflows i have heard of being made as only Garrett make the cartridges that are a direct fit hot and cold side for the standard Nissan cartridges as they were originally made as replacements for VL turbo cartridges. With there being no visible scuffs or scrapes in the mouth of the turbo (from what i can tell in the pictures) i would think it was one of the above problems with oil. Either that or a very hard hot shut down. This usually happens on dyno's though or very shortly after.
