Hey I am currently converting my twin -5's to a 6262 twin scroll, aim is responsive 450kw, for ages I thought it'll cost 6k to do. Realistically it's more like 10k+ Just been quoted $4600 just for fabricating including oil cooler mount and catch can, turbo cost $2300 landed Manifold $1350, oil lines and block offs $500, wastegate 50mm turbosmart $650. Flex fuel and tune $3500-$4000, or just going with the one fuel type $800-$1000 tune. Twin pumps n surge tank $1200 Injectors $800 I just recently had to rebuild the motor. So I said why not go single.. with in mind thinking it'll cost me 4-6k as everyone says.. I know that afterwards it'll be unreal which I spoke to a tuner and he said I should easily make 500atwkw on e85 with better response then the -5's. Think long and hard, it's a lot of money and not as cheap as everyone makes it out to be. If you budget the right amount of money you would be disappointed. Do ur maths and add it up then + $2k extra for any unforeseen problems that will come up lol, if you want to stick with twins I have a lot of top end parts which will work well to get you to the 400kw.
