  1. I dont see the value in spending $1500 on a power fc for my situation anyone had good results with an ITC?
  2. Dump Pipe for r33 gtst for sale. Split pipe type, stainless steel. pm me for pics. $300 (melb)
  3. so verdict is ????? get one - or not???
  4. similar to safc (piggyback) but lets u adjust timing (itc=ignigtion timing converter)
  5. I have a stock r34 gtt cooler on there but i realise that it isn't heaps better than the stock r33 unit. thanks for the advice - what would you guys think a super ITC in really good condition is worth??
  6. it will be, but once set up properly - will it be ok and reliable?
  7. anyone else had any good/bad experience or results with them??
  8. u serious - are they that bad and unreliable?? does this mean it completely overides the ecu's ability to control timing and will just use the timing it's set at? wouldnt it just alter the ecus timing, which takes into account load?? .......or am i way off??
  9. what does everyone think of the apexi super ITC's when combined with an SAFC? Is this a good option if I can get one cheap? Will it give me a nice increase in power down low? ATM I have zorst, pod and SAFC. thanks ps. pls don't tell me to just get a power FC!
  10. also interested - wouldn't mind seeing them if a melb person gets a set!
  11. man, you dont need to pull of the turbo - I had similar probs, just take off the dump pipe from turbo to cat. It only takes about an hour to remove and gives you easy access to the back of the turbo to see how the wastegate is operating clearly!!
  12. duuuuuude, if the light is on then the airbag isn't working - disconnect the globe and you'll never bother fixing the problem and the airbag won't be working!
  13. Ive also heard from pretty experienced coooler manufacturers that they dont like 100mm coolers b/c outside air doesn't flow through the fins as well because it's so thick.
  14. I had this prob after my battery died and I had a jumpstart. If it's same as my prob, the most likely, you will need to take it to Nissan as they are the only guys with the computer to hook up to ecu & reset it. will cost you around $80, and takes them all of 5min to do.
  15. Guys, I'm trying to figure out if my car has the stock clutch or if the owner in japan changed it over. My car arrived completely stock (as far as i could see) and is the only r33 i have driven. I find that when the clutch is cold, it is really grabby and takes a while until you get smooth operation of it. It doesn't bother me, just wondering if all r33 clutches are like this when cold or if mine is aftermarket?? Also, it also makes a whooshing type sound when idling disappears when clutch is pressed in - what could this be??? thanks
  16. I installed it in about half an hour Perfect fit to stock piping - straight bolt in I felt a difference - a lot less restrictive up top. definitely a worthwhile mod in my eyes if you dont want a mega front mount which attracts attention and adds lag. in terms of volume, it is around 50% bigger than the stock r33 unit, so it must make a diff.
  17. i have an r34 gtt stock cooler and i dont find that boost drops off
  18. do you have a dump pipe on the car - what sort is it?
  19. if the bleeder had a restrictor which is too small, wouldn't this mean that the actuator can sees less pressure - meaning more boost!
