My car is fixed. It was a speed sensor fault. Guy who repaired it was an expert in these cars and if you r in Melbourne and wanting a good machanic contact him. Thanks everyone for their comments. It is with me for nearly 3 years and I have done about 20000 kms. Just want to let you know one mechanic told me cvs shouldn't be flushed but I don't know it is for a fact.

Hi everyone My 350GT-8 cvt has a problem in gear shifting. This appears when I drive it for 40-50km. Once the problem start it will reduce the gears by itself and stay at 1st gear. When you keep the car switch off for couple of minutes and turn it back on it will drive for some time without any problem. It has done 65000kms all together. Any helpful opinion would be highly appreciated.
