  5. must be absolutely spewin ! although no alternative, you guys have patience that's for certain. when you cant do anything about it then you cant waste energy on emotion did you not got any info on timeframe when doing business with importers? meaning is this common this wait and see how long it takes. Most govt agency's have SLA's I know of the downsizing of all government departments but this is beyond belief. most departments have not been slashed yet Approved vehicles link RAWS site says it can take up to 20 days (1month) So what has DotaRS said about their timeframe/delay ? Complaints to [email protected]

  8. Hi Eric - have done it twice on my 32 It's not complex at all but the first time will take 1-2hrs. It's mainly about the angle of getting glass out/in. Make certain you give it a great vacuum if the glass has shattered. It gets every where but particularly on the brushes and inner/outer window strips Which means if you don't do it properly your new (2nd hand) window will scratch-up the first time you put it up/down. It's 10 minst to get the door card off and all the window switches out and unplugged bout 10-20 to undo the nuts holding the window in bout 10-20mins removing the window - but if yours is shattered just the thourough vacuum and removal of broken glass. I did it alone but it would be a lot easier if there are 2 of you. Just balancing the window, slotting it in and doing the nuts up whilst the other holds the galss in place. TFE mate.
  9. obviously something is drawing down on the power. So yeah check all ancillary gear (interior lights etc..) and earthing straps. I've experienced and heard a lot of people with R32 GTR's who cant leave their GTR sitting for a week or longer period of time. Some of the blame is the car alarm drawing down on the battery. I did have the several small watch type batterys powering the m80 mongoose alarm drain after several years and had the siren part replaced. (after ripping out the alarm and smashing it as it makes that orrible dull sound when going flat ....) Buy a charger and put it on trickle charge whilst not driving it often. Because if you just disconnect a battery lead terminal and if you have an alarm/imobiliser it will trigger the alarm ! The other thing I have found is that the spark plugs foul easily if it is idled for a while whilst stationary and then turned off, which makes it harder to start next time and drains the battery further while trying to crank over. I like mine to start every time and on first turn of the key rather than 2-3 cranks. I drive it every other weekend so not often. So replaced battery, alternator, starter, plugs', ignitor, fuel pump & filter I understand that the OEM ECU detects the location of all cylinders on cranking. Some of the aftermarket ones look for the position of a particular piston (#1) being TDC so crank a few times on start-up If your battery is tired this can be an issue.
  10. Maybe it sold and is being re-sold It has dropped a few $$k It does look clean and ad sounds good MP's best bet for his criteria and a saving
  11. Anfanee drove like a granny all the way. I had planned to stay behind Anthony but couldn't. My nanna drives faster ... (RIP nanna) In fact no-one topped 120kmph on the way there, 98% round the 110kmph mark. da big police presence on the way out of ACT stuck in my mind and I didn't hit over 120 there and back. (I lie - only once did I go over that and got covered in fuel by the EVO )

  16. I don't disagree. I have had many rants My solution is an old one. I lived in an Asian city as a very young boy. A white post in the middle of the city and a firing squad. Users + Sellers Over time the problem goes away
