  1. Spotted Mangs 32 at ESP recently "Ïn rust we trust" sticker and the ol SAU ACT sticker...with forum name
  2. srsly ! I understand how people want to do it themselves and that not everyone has the coin to take their car to a shop. but if you either know Fark All or you have exhausted what little knowledge you have then get it to a trusted mechanic to diagnose through a process of elimination. Has the ECU thrown error codes? Sight and sound unseen and you expect the folks on here will hit the nail on the head. You will get try this or that repeatedly until you have replaced or cleaned heaps of parts Example: You replace ignitor, coilpacks, CAS, spark plugs, coilpack loom with known working units or new ones and you still have an issue. (Remember to mark the position of the CAS prior to removal) You clean/replace AFM's, AAC, IAC, - still an issue Check and replace all vacuum lines, piping Strayed from factory BOV's ? - still an issue You replaced the APexi PFC with a stock ECU (What about the tune?) Fuel pump, fuel filter - you still have an issue. What about your actuators ? Now my advice You say you have checked all the piping. How thorough were you ? From your first para it sounded to me like you popped IC piping or have a split in hose somewhere. That will cause difficult to start, run ruff, little to no boost (unless you have a mafless set up - then it will feel like a car with no turbo's) Edit: True plugs foul easily on idle for any length of time
  3. Hey I've got no turbo's for sale. Just some free advice. IMHO for the cost of rebuilding stock your better of going new.
  4. Used both KU31 and Federal RSR595's on my GTR Found the KU31's better at lower and higher speeds in the wet due to tread pattern/depth to move the water They're a good all rounder and likely wear better than the RSR's The RSR's I found are better when dry roads. and upto around 120kmph in the wet before I start to loose confidence in them. I run the RSR's on both my lines now and enjoy the grip from a semi in the dry and sit around 110 in the wet.
  5. ye$ he did^ I still has regrets I do know there is a few out there on SAU as I was offered swaps for my Nismo 8pt (R32, s13, s14...)
  6. Thanx Jiffo. Actually have the FP Gauge connected to the FPReg in the engine bay. Got tired of second guessing or taking it to a shop so they could test the fuel pressure for drop/low.
  7. Thanks Callan Not had a FP gauge on before and that's about what it is reading at idle
  8. Just like to know about fuel pressure and what is considered "normal" . Thank you
  9. how many burgers eaten whilst suspension being adjusted to make seat squeak ? perhaps the mechanic adjusted the seat when doing the road test .... Lube everything under the seat. rails etc....
  10. 2 of A interesting to see what would be done differently
  11. . see above - get the message^
  12. lol - qwerty123 is back for amusement on dull dayz
  13. No real idea yet Mik. See what happens, if anything. Ideally a CO2 system . Seems to be a number of systems but Cryo is in my opinion best.
  14. What's the performance difference between Do-luck and OEM ? I see it says enhanced in the link - what does that mean - how ? Never mind, Googled Apparently uses thicker wire for better strength of signal/power (1.6x's thicker) Coupled with the "direct wire" from battery (extra) improves voltage delivery.
  15. yep. OEM from factory. Should be removed at compliance I believe. Some sort of door ajar but it is louder than the car horn and goes off randomly. Nice when your in the middle of a pack of bikers !! Ended up driving out there this morning and removing the door card to disconnect and remove the horn.
  16. Sounds like Anthony's
  17. I had bought a Nismo and handed it to a shop to install. But looking at it after removing - it has no markings or indication of what sort of pump it is. So the Nismo may have ended up somewhere with someone else. Too long ago to worry about. Was noisy priming and when hot ran on, so may also have been a Bosch 044 - was time to go anyway. Ps. I like your sig pic Rob.
  18. Don't track as you know so Will wait a little while before cooler goes in. Was just hedging bets with this one. May go E85 soon.
  19. funny all that talk on fuel pumps must be that time of year ... Walbro 450 ltr/ph, E85 compatible put in today, and only $200 for the pump and kit, cheering ! Fuel pressure gage next. Will make my life easier when doubting the fuel pressure being delivered.
