up early and out. Another awesome drive from South to North and through town via Mitchell on the way back. Long line of traffic heading out to the Nats along Northbourne. Happy to be travelling in the opposite direction Thought I'd see a few nice cars in my travels, but no such luck. Must all be inside the showgrounds. Last place I think I'd want to be today. (Must be getting older/grumpier- crowds, kids and bogans shit me to tears)

No worries - that one is covered as per OEM (it's not just plastic, it's covered with the dark grey leather look material) any 2nd hand ones may be cracked or material coming off (or both) Due to the age they are fragile. Places like Just Jap and Kudos carry certain stock - generally the stuff that fails or breaks on R32 GTR's - lol

Look for a guy on here called Dodgyimports. I believe he runs a service that will give you some good info. Since your vehicle hit the shores of Aus it's anyones guess though

Agree - more so if parked outside but will happen when air pressure is pushed out and when there is heat applied to cold (Condensation) May still have a misfiring problem but that has naught to do with the clear fluid with grey/black coming out of the muffler. Unburnt fuel comes out as fumes

The reason: In 1989, the Australian Government restricted the use of refrigerant R12 under the Ozone Protection Act, thus requiring replacement of the use of R12 with the environmentally friendly R134a gas. R12 to R134a conversion (retro-fitting) for older vehicles conditioned to use the R12 gas, as R12 gas is no longer available to consumers. Think there is more to it than just changing from R12 to R134a. Also any shop that is still doing R12 would be putting their livelihood at risk Edit: Had mine retrofitted about 16months back. Going strong and cold

To add to the above comments. IMHO R32 GTR's that have not had the engine rebuilt. 9.5 / 10 are a bee's dick away from needing one. So when people advertise $15k or more for a R32 GTR with an unopened block then you add $12k to $20k. You will need it. If the Turbo's are stock....factor that in as well. Yes I agree with well maintained, non thrashed, vehicles lasting longer. (these are imported GTR's - most with dodgy at best history's) They have an Achilles' heal that an extra litre of oil wont stop from occurring and doing a big end bearing. How many times does some one buy a 32GTR and then show up on this site with a bad experience or a FS add.

RHD or Nengun have this type of insert (below) Made of MDF and the cup part is normally silver plastic ( I painted mine black) You could also get as an OEM option the extended 2 cup holder for the centre lift up bit There is also a posh looking tray set up available for the passenger side but IMHO it looks gaids (Aero make it) Edit: Would also like to see if there is something else available
