It's True that Higher KM vehicles can be better cared for and may be in better health than lower KM cars.
Falsifying records, tampering with odometers and knowingly misleading buyers is illegal - Period!

As said in above posts KM's are used as an indication of wear and tear of the vehicle and all it's components - USLESS if the odometer has been altered
It can assist in measuring a cars worth - UNLESS the odometer has been altered
Ultimately you should get what you pay hard earned cash for.
No one buys on KM's alone. Although it must be genuine so you get an indication of the state of the vehicle.
Buyers legally expect full disclosure when they step on a car lot, (or buy 2nd hand vehicles from private sellers but this is harder to prosecute).
We can handle truth and make a decision based on it and the dollars in our pocket.
If it means the price of 2nd hand, low KM performance cars is more expensive than higher KM performance cars. Then it is as it should be.
