They look good the 86's. Seen a few with kits and some have been done well and some not. Ideal for the kids around town. Should be interesting when they go turbo - if they go turbo .... Edit: may end up being the track car of choice in 20yrs

265's will scrub with Federals ( the rules that govern tyre size variation allow a 10% difference - Federals are close to the max allowance for this type/brand) 255's are Ideal Even rolling the front guard will not help. It scrubs on the inner plastic guards. (18x9.5 +12) I had new 265's for a few weeks then bought 255's and onsold the 265's Perhaps if your offset is +20 or +30 it may be different, I can't say - your choice. Just sharing my experience. Put new steering wheel on yesterday. Awesome! Wasn't quite straight so pulled it off to move it a bit left and broke a wire in a connector plug. Can't fix so replaced with a better quality wiring job. Took a while. Then had another shot at fitting bonnet struts after mik did some grinding of the brackets for me (Quality work MiK). Bonnet still doesn't fit quite right, raise by almost .5cm half way down tried a fair few things, so removed the struts and will work on it later. Then went to secure wiper cowling correctly with clips to find it had snapped on one end will need to get another one Gave up and cooked while watching TV.

Disabling the car is easy but completely stopping theft - dunno Some have invested in Alarm/Immobiliser + wheel clamp/s + buddy clubs + GPS tracking + hidden kill switch etc... which is good to deter most all. ( but the serious professionals !) Alarm/Immobiliser go off with motion so I'm not certain how they get away with flat bed trucks ? you could have your vehicle micro dotted as well IED may be over the top but if you could still insure your vehicle ......... They would only try the once ! Even a single shotgun shell in the horn button comes to my mind. Would hate to forget to disable the sprung pin tho

on topic and maybe of of interest - a full new set of R32 GTR locks including ignition barrel is $240 thinking I may buy a complete new set and get the NIsmo key cut to suit Sin. Cant see myself selling the car or the key so seems logical they should be "locked" together

Woo hoo I run these as well. I prefer the DBA's over the RDA's.

Light sanding as suggested to take burs off then Graphite powder on key and Ignition barrel. some things shouldn't be WD40'd. (locks is one of them) In other news replaced steering wheel in the GTR this morn with a newie old one is in top cond but was tempted to onsell to a mate. (and had the other sitting on the shelf taking space) Sometimes money trumps having spares.
