  15. I've heard of one guy who eventually fixed his. You can tryyyy and fix the contacts. I did and failed.. I then replaced mine twice with 2nd hand ones. Hence why you can still buy them new. (I had the same issue as you and tried many things with out success. Easier to replace)
  16. Coolant (antifreeze/antiboil) can/should feel silky/oily due to Propylene Glycol and it's viscosity
