  1. As per above - Get underneath and have a good look. Give it all a good shake. - If you can't identify then take it into a shop and get them to check it out for you - Get a diagnosis and cost to fix. - Ask them to show you so you know your not being ripped a new one. (some shops will !) - Decide to pay or DIY.
  2. Good DIY vid for a very old and well known remedy to this common issue
  3. Yes very Good - " This pump is rated to 4.1L/min (276L/hour) @ 3 bar of pressure, which is 75% greater than the factory unit" Expensive in comparison, but I believe worth it .
  4. good stuff Gus - that's the spirit
  5. sheeesh, no hope for me then. Kids table again huh
  6. Doh - my bad, I should read more thoroughly Went through this issue recently in my 34. Did the above and resolved. My thought about why in my case was in proper grounding at the lamp itself. The rest was just maintenance and clean up while I was resolving.
  7. Very nice car Geoff. you know your going to miss it don't you. New owner should High flow and Nistune
  8. maybe Shell or Kat representing down here might Orgynise (will call and see what's what with the + who do it down here)
  9. Try OTR in Melbourne Got great ones for my LMGT4's at an awesome price. Like you said Mik you can get best quality ones from the Manufacturer who supplies the big wheel branded shops. Seemed to me OTR had an in somewhere
  10. http://www.kudosmotorsports.com/catalog/walbro-fuel-pump-kit-intank-walbro-gss341-255lph-nissan-180sx-rps13-silvia-ps13-skyline-r32-stagea-wgnc34-p-1079.html 341 according to this link. But Scott has the experience I'm just going by what I read when I bought one for the 34 GTT recently. all will need the stock cradle modified Edit: You can buy the pump by itself and re-use the sock. You don't need to buy the kit I put in the link
  11. Good cause Luke giving blood for my 2nd time Mid October Got my donors card and a headline news article in the post a week or so later - "Your Name" is a hero and has saved 3 lives. Doing a good thing and it makes you feel good too
  12. Too low, too loud, pods/fmic (state dependant), coil overs, Rims, Gauges, Electronic stuff not hidden - and everything a daily gets picked for - oil leaks, steering components etc.. Most everyone modifies their GTR's. So once you get it registered you hope you don't have to do it again. and of course RTA are tuff on imports. Good GTR's cost good money for a reason
  13. I think I thought it was Troys old one fixed when I was out there
  14. fouls your plugs mate If you want some value I recommend Liqui Moly fuel system cleaner and if you hadn't already done it when you bought the car another Liqui Moly product - at your next oil/oil filter change use Engine Detox (just let it idle - don't boost it !) Better than any other product on the market - IMHO
  15. you might be right Zeb, more likely the placebo effect
  16. Communal goo? - sounds like soggy SAO game ! but Robs onto something. I think there would be a number of locals who might need/use or perhaps a shop like Trojan might part with enough to help you out.
  17. Replace the globe/s or LEDs and while your there take the whole unit out of the roof. While out make sure all the contacts are fine. - Disconnect the wiring harness from the back of it and then re-insert it. You could quickly clean the contacts it plugs into. Taking it out is easy. Gently pry the clear plastic off. Inside is 2 screws - remove. It'll drop down. Unclip it. Clean contact points and replace globes. Clip together and test. 2-5 minutes.
  18. your always somebody speshal to me Rob Caltex can be to hit n miss and I think their 91/95/98/diesel all comes from the same petrol tanker !
  19. Type1 forward facing vent. Don't think they have made them for a number of years now. GLWS
  20. nobody uses woollies/Caltex in performance cars most are on shell vpower. The buzz used to be BP ultimate, it seems to retain its octane rating for longer but then peeps changed back to Shell. NFI why... Personally I don't mind either BP or Shell
