  3. Thanks Luke - GTR's now booked into ESP on Friday 1st so most likely nocando Just booked it in to fix a niggly issue thats come about since the Nismo plenum and new injectors went on last month

  8. True it's a science I dont understand either. Logically the best system would be the same internal diameter from inlet to outlet. Spose what I am saying is I dont think your pulling and pushing enough air for it to be an issue. Not yet any way...

Hey Daniel - the first is a decat pipe 3" the second cat in the photo's i sent is this -> "metal matrix 100 or 200 cell one, around 4inch core, you'll probably get good results from a change there" As I said earlier in another post on this subject in the ACT section. Cats are genrally not the issue in restricting air flow (that is if they haven't collapsed). The muffler is All this stuff about Catalytic converters and cfm ratings is mostly BS from people who wish to sell you there product. Decat is obviously better as it has NO internals so absolutely no issue - EXCEPT it breaks EPA regs. @250 kws with your decat (cat with the guts ripped out) and turbo is NOT your issue. Add 100kws to that and then start thinking about restricted air flow. I'll go measure both internal diameters if I really have to. Tis better if you just come check them both out.

  11. those guys that showed an interest in the R32 weather shields yor going to have to pick them up from mine in Bonython. Txt me on 0408 732 655 when your in the area. If there not picked up by this Sunday night they go in the dumpster. 1 Set OEM in gloss black, 1 Set CF. Attach with 3m double sided tape Also if anyone wants to drive away in a 96 Magna Exec V6 - $200. It runs well, looks fine and it will pass RWC You can take it to a property and use it as a paddock basher or you can register it and drive it as a daily. Small dent in front qtr from some ones head.

  13. Thanks Troy If it fits troys it fits yours A cat is for the emmissions to meet our EPA regs. (catching and converting the hot fuely fumes to an acceptable level) There is not too much impact on actual air flow believe it or not. and honestly I dont care if you dont. Obviously straight through is best as there is no impediment at all. BUT it is slightly worse for the environment. A cat converts, a muffler muffles Mufflers reduce air flow more than cats as your trying to turn down the sound. Edit: I'll add it's the size from Turbo to tip that matters most, but you have to have the need to flow that much
