I've just detailed 4 cars including my GTR, GTT, VTiR, Magna Sports and tomoz will be M<atts Evo VIII. Happy to share how I do eeeet. Cejay - how bad is it. Only ask coz I attacked one today and came up ok. gave it a light cut and it took off the calcification and mended the paint. Got a fairdinkum buffing tool etc.. Did the wash, Clay bar, wash, very mild cut, wash, detail finisher stuff and 2 x waxing.

agree with you Taylor. Recent example of a R34 GTR Bayside Blue. Same description. He'd dropped it into shop for something. Picked it up and drove home and the engine kept running when he turned it off. Turned out the mechanics had played with the FOB during the day and accidently turned the Turbo timer on. Owner didn't know he had one....

about 3:30 -4 today travelled behind a silver stag down the monaro towards rose cottage. Had a drift toy on it and stickers on the rear window Traffic was shite so I couldn't pull up beside it

How long did it keep running for ? and your CERTAIN there is no turbo timer.... Engine or fan kept running? If it was for a short time then the problem is called pre-igniting. the reason being that your timing is too far advanced, get a timing light and find out what the timing setting is and reset it.

Could just be the type of clutch. I have a twin plate OS gieken and it makes a minor ratling noise when depressed. Has done for several years and it is not an issue. Checked it when my engine was rebuilt last year and all fine. If your still concerned have it checked by a trustworthy mechanic to give yourself piece of mind or give you an indication if he thinks it's more serious. Should post in the general maintenance section and not the FS section too - Newbie

Oh oh oh - got home and spotted MLR's Silver 33 GTS-t turn up in our driveway. Wasn't expecting it but Mark was here to pick up rotors from Troy. Damn nice 33 with an RB25/30 and a T04Z. Hauled ass at the Goulbourn SAU Nationals Airstrip run Tidy tidy 33. engine bay clean and cage in the cabin
