I've had a similar squeal on start up after a new gates belt was installed. It lasted sub 5-10 seconds. Was told a bit of cake soap on the belt which removes the squeel on start up... However I did nothing, and after a number of starts and running the noise stopped. So I'll be watching this thread Ps. The guy next door in his toyota has an incorrectly adjusted belt and it squeal all the time. It annoys the shit out of me at 4.30am every morning. .

Thats been down a fair few gravel tracks behind another car. Definately respray bonnet and front bar.

Japanese Import Spares had a new set for $260 (there clear plastic lenses) about a month ago.

$600 a panel has been my experience. $400ea front / rear bar. That includes fixing minor panel damage. Up to $10,000 for whole car windows out and door/sills. Underside boot, bonnet. and engine bay if your motors out.

Rev Head round up on ACA tonight at 7.30. Fark me extra attention from the Po Po for a while, like there's not enough already. I hate hoons bringing this down on enthusiasts. last weekend for example. Good time had without doing burnouts and drag racing.
