Drivers door doesn't sit flush when closed, bubbles in the dash.
"We import the best available" " You can Redline and it wont blow up "
Sure ?
Be a fair few of the pre 90's in the US of A rebuilding engines and replacing oil pumps and extending sumps.
As NiZmo said take the door card off, look and fix.
If you haven't done it before its easy
6 or so Clips around the outside and 2 screws. 1 is under the arm rest
Remove and unclip the wiring connection for the window switch panel (pulls up) and remove the screw there.
Once the door card is removed and the plastic sheet pulled back
you will find 2 nuts at the base of the window. Tighten
Felt pads are at the sill level on the door card and on the outside weather sill. Replace
(There is one very small screw on the outer sill at the door handle end. Can be slightly hidden by the rubber)
Adding 2cents worth.
Agreed there is less being advertised, agree prices appear to be going up
An issue I have is the Price vs Quality.
Mostly really well overpriced poor examples up for sale at the moment.
I'm particularly Talking about the ones on Carsales ATM.
Swap ignitors with known working one. Once illimnated as the cause then look further. Coil pack loom perhaps. When you do the checks on the coil packs do it at night or in a dark place so you can see spark. What were your plugs like? Especially 1 and 5?
It can give you you an indicator of what's going on.
