1. The Transmission I bought to go in was rebuilt by MV, cost around $4k and had 2 months use prior to me buying it, so I'm hoping it's all goodness.... Unfortunately the fella who got the work done on the transmission wrote his car off shortly afterwards. (and I got a GREAT deal)
2. Thanks Jez. That was my main concern. I was really concerend wether the NIStune and the Auto Transmission would work together. I didn't know the Transmission had it's own ECU, so thanks for that info. Theoretically then it should all be good. I'd hate to get it all together and then have issues. Has anyone done this and whats your experience ?
3. Any real blockers or issues you see with this set-up. ie: is this a good idea? 2001 Series2, R34 GTT Neo, Auto trans with stally/torque converter, GT3076 .82 rear housing, internally gated with a Nistune ? Thinking 300rwkws and longevity. Thoughts/comments on the good, bad and ugly of doing this.
4. HAWT thank you
5. Where have you been hiding TiTAN ? Jamtime - liking the matt black. Now I can say I have seen one. BTW where did you get the T1 CF bonnet from ?
6. Lulz - is that the recycle triangle on the front fender ?
7. Thanks Drew. I can't wait to hit the highways again. Next time I might see your BB 34 GTR in my rear view Angry sound coming out of yours through the underpass on the way back. Bring on 2012. It'll be massive.
8. Thanks heaps for all your help. I'll have the stone gaurds trimmed. As it's mostly street with a few sprint/track days The DBA 6x6 wiper slotted and I am led to beleive by the brake place they have addressed the cracking issue in these. I don't beleive evrything I hear but was convinced to give it a go. As for pads bendix street/track? Again thanks for your experiences. PS. I think you need to take the wheel hub off to get the stone gaurd completely removed.
9. "paybacks a bitch" I hear that DBA 4000 series rotors crack after 1 or 2 track days. So getting the Club Spec DBA 4000 which are spose to be new. I'll let everyone now how it goes. It's too late for me to do much else but advise others to go 5000 series or Project Mu for piece of mind and if you have the $$$$
10. Pick one (Skyline Nationals 2008)
11. Hi crew, As per topic I have my R32 GTR booked in tomorrow to have R33 GTR Brembo's fitted with new larger slotted Dba rotors as a minor brake upgrade. I have fully forgotten about the rotor gaurd. The new rotors are RDA to suit the 33 Brembo calipers and are obviously larger. What should and/or can i do about the Rotor gaurds as they wont fit over the larger rotors 1. Wait and get some to fit 2. Flatten out to fit or 3. Remove entirely. 4. are the DBA 4000 series any good or should i be looking for something else ? Those in the know your help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance PS. I Posted in the
Skylines Australia > Modifications & Maintenance
> Suspension, braking and tyres But very quiet tonight

15. Sorry Karl - my son say no thanks
16. Just for refrence I picked up my 32 last week with a single change in colour. I paid $10k (door jambs done, windows out and NOT the engine bay). But being in the ACT you get the high cost on most things.. Captive market without to many shops you would take your car too.
17. Great to meet you nsw folk. A good drive down and back and thnx for slowing down when the Po Po were hiding up the bush track - Pfewwwww reminds myself to take 2ways for next road trip
18. I had nervous laugh after the drama unfolded in front of me and was very happy to have been far enough back not to be near enough to the action. Where's the in cabin camera when you want one. Could have been 3 x 34's injured (2 GTR's) had Skippy hit the side of the white GTR34 first.
19. Im sure the Motive guys got some good film on the way down. It was good to see them cruizin up/down from the back of the pack to the front. It would have been good to have pre_organised a fly by at speed. Although Drew was moving at a great rate of knots a few times. A few oh shit moments were had. Skippy was oh so lucky Shell didn't clean it up and some nice evasive action taken by Drew not to clean her up.
20. Great Photo's Bob thanks mate.
