  1. Those sealed yellow tops arent cheap either. $300+ ?
  2. If you haven't heard Since capturing and shoooting Osama Bin Laden, Feds in Alice Springs have also arrested 4 xxxxxxx terrorist suspects: Bin Bludgin, Bin Thievin, Bin Boozin & Bin Dealin, there appears to be no sign of Bin Workin. These leads were aided by cousin Bin Lagin
  3. Been there done that (twice). 1. Give your engine builder the "right of repair". If that fails (almost always) 2. Call Fair trading, lodge a form. Fair Trading will organise a mediation hook-up. and then if that fails 3. PaY $600 FOR AN INDEPENDANT ENGINEERS REPORT. I Recommend Geoff Senz & Associates. 4. Once you have the report (and it identifies the cause and who is at fault) fill in this form http://www.cttt.nsw....hicles_Division 5. attend court and receive judgement. PS. Claim all your costs plus the cost of Repair/Replace. But give your engine builder first right of repair. You might have a decent guy. Dont be intimidated or hoodwinked. Just follow these steps.
  4. 2JZGTE. Part of a 3.4l build that got cancelled. I wasn't quick enough to get the rest of the goodies
  5. Got the 2j from a realy great guy out of W.A. $1240 deliverd block , crank , rods and pistons , brand spanking new PS. Happy to PM details as he has alot of stuff.
  6. Yeh - Matts is similar. But the GTR now that's different
  7. Whats with boost comming on or after 4000rpm. That's bad lag. I'd rather not have to force the RPM's up and drop the clutch. Personally I think boost should be full on by 4-5k rpm and start around 2500rpm. But that's me.
  8. Yes I do. But maybe keeping. I Just bought a new 2jz short block for Matts MKIII and looking to get the turbo's refurbed and highflowed. What do you think ?
  9. As mentioned 4 months to get the job done should be heaps of warning and time to get my GTR done. I'll try one last time as a last ditch effort I expect will be worth it. I'll let you now how I go via PM. Cheers Richard
  10. Thanks. I must admit I didnt feel good when reading how fast your mate got an answer. "Due to be fully resprayed within two wks pending manufacturing of his side skirts" I'll give it one last try and see what response i get. Maybe it's timing/circumstances or just the way they dress me. It's hard chewing through the leather straps in the morning. Cash sitting in the bank since christmas.
  11. Seriously, I'm more thn happy to wait it out. I'd love KMF/Naz to do my Car and thats why I have done and am I'm doing all the right things. Phone call, appointment, quote but can't get timings.Unfortunately Naz is busy and cant/wont commit to a start date due to his own reasons. I have repeatedly said the start and wait time is not an issue. I have waited 4 months and happy to wait another 4 months. I have done all the right things and been an absolutely no hassle customer. A phone call and/or SMS every 4-5 weeks. Now 4 months down the track with 4 months before I'd like my car finished I need to lock the job in. I'm not after a $2k or $5k job. I expect to pay between $8-10K. This isn't a diss. I know Naz is busy, he told me so. That's why I have posted. I apologise as this is not meant to offend anyone. I would realy like my GTR painted within the next 4 months. Cheers Richard
  12. Looking to get your recent experience on car respray jobs locally. (maybe PM price) I went to KMF but Naz is far too busy unfortunately. I've heard he does good work and saw him months ago and just cant get his time/attention to do a full respray or commit to a start date. So... Now I need to find a shop that does great work and has time over the next 4 months. Your personal experience/recomendations would be appreciated. I'd prefer if it's your experince and not "hear say". When and how much isn't a major concern as long as the shop is good and can commit to their timeframe. Dollars on/off the books, as not an insurance job. Finish time by around late August mid September 2011. Looking to go stock colour or close. Maybe the new Mercede's silver? Not after a custom House of Kolors paint job. Just good quality and maybe a something slightly different shade/colour. Cheers Richard
  13. Try Christian or Steph at Ultimate Tunes in Phillip. He may have something laying around
  14. Awww go on you young strapping lads. Is chivalry dead. Whats wrong with loosing a bit of bark and blood off the knuckles. you get to swear like a soldier!
  15. Lol - I cnt see Shell doing this. Be a real gentleman and go help her. Just lock your car when you get out in Kambah
  16. Sheezus odd. NFI but will watch this thread closely
  17. +1 There are a lot lessa cars going for more. Stand firm if you can afford to. Money's tight but good cars will find good homes. People with sense realy appreciate clean, tidy and sensible mods. There's bound to be someone who will appreciate the effort/$$$ youve spent on this. Anyone can buy a cheap GTR and they deserve to get what they paid for and it's not your GTR at only $20k Non drive able GTR's are going for $12k waiting for an engine rebuild. and you know thats not cheap! You have a rebuilt, resprayed with all the goods GTR. 328 awkws speaks volumes. That's a tuff GTR. Don't make me slap you
  18. Douche' ?
  19. Good luck with all that, I feel your pain and I empathise with you. Me having a big rant wont change things and would only air my opinions again, which are well known. "don't bring a knife to a gun fight" - If they scartched your car then find and burn theirs. You may be lucky and hear back from the police, I doubt it. and what do you expect they will/can do. F/A is my experience If your lucky and have comprehensive insurance - then yay!
  20. Laurie on 6281 9613 Sorry just realised your from Qbyn ..........................and you own a 33!
  21. Yes rubber and pads will be needed. Pre and/or post. Just make sure your car and you are ready. Some people take their car to the track unprepared and come home in the front of a flat bed tow truck. Talk with someone who's been a few times and listen. IMHO - Cooling, oil flow, suspension and braking will make your experience a happy one.
