  1. Take the door card off and have a look This is simple to do. 6 or so push in clips around the door card extremeties (be a little gentle but not too much) maybe use a screw driver to leaver out or the proper tool. Pull the electrics panel up and disconnect the 2 plugs Undo the screw in the hand hold Pull door handle insert off and then lift the door card up and off Rather than guess it's best to look and know (Perhaps the two nuts that hold the glass to the scissor lift have worked there way off.) Edit: Oh and each time you try to raise it your likely scratching the glass
  2. Hi Peter, Maybe start another thread and make it a poll Something like "How long did your engine rebuild take" Options: 3 Months or less 6 Months 9 months 12 Months Greater than 12 months ! I for one would be interested in the results. Maybe in the comments SAUérs could add Which shop and were they totally happy with service Did it come in on Time and Quoted price ...... LMFAO (allowing for owners that add/change bits as they usually do making cost go up)
  3. 5 weeks - Pffft ! Unless your very special then you have several more months to wait. Time and Money It's never what you were expecting/quoted. Have you ever had a house built ? If you have I bet that was ready at least 3 months after you were expecting.

  11. Oh no - incorrect Login ID coming up again. (Methz and TT350? this time) You can not do anything from the screen of the other user but it does come up. Select another link and it switches back to my Login Update post: Mainly when I click "New Content" or "SAU Community"
  12. Logged in as some one else does appear fixed - thank you
  13. I have obviously offended with my comment. To make it clear to OP I have not dealt with DirectImports or Phill. It appears from the post above that BWCW has and is happy with the service provided. I have heard nothing but good things re Iron Chef. Again I have not used his service, yet. However In my opinion the Vspec II's and in particular the link posted in my previous post - it is still my opinion that vehicle, due to the visual condition, has either Travelled ALOT more than 57000kms or has been extremely poorly treated for the said 57000kms. (added) if proven to be legitimate KM's. If it looks to me like a duck, waddles like a duck, quacks like a duck - then I will still call it a duck. Appologies for the "NOT trustworthy" . The Vspecs II's in my opinionion are questionable and I would seek irrefutable evidence if I was purchasing.
  14. O oh ! Check Login ID
  15. ACT brake specialists in Canberra did the exact same thing to me - once ! They couldn't find the problem and told me to go read the car forums - lol
  16. I checked the site you provided and it's my opinion after looking at their vehicles, in particular the half dozen R32 Vspec II's, that they are NOT trustworthy one example: http://www.directimported.com/car-profile.php?make=Nissan&model= Skyline Gt-r V Spec Ii&year=1994&vid=126# (copy past link into browser) 57000kms - yeah right
  17. Yeah, sorry for not answering your question. What you have been told is correct especially if you intend to track at some stage. Yes if your oil pump is pumping at a higher rate than OEM there is a good risk it will empty your sump.
  18. I'll look for the invoice for when they put my plenum on so you have an idea if you don't DIY
  19. hope it wasn't my Nitto one .... looks like this underneath Eric
  20. Might be worth also refreshing the hoses / clamps while your in there
  21. Well done Eric Plenum will be a bit of task. You may need a gasket (very likely) and it has at least 3 hoses that join to it underneath
