Thanks guys. Will keep stock manifold then. Appreciate the help.

Hey guys. I'm looking at getting a low mount exhaust manifold. I'm having trouble with witch one is best for me. I've seen that there are different 'flange' sizes? Is this refering to the size of the output from where the exhaust manifold bolts on to the turbo? If I'm correct what size do I want to go for? ATM everything is stock apart from exhaust. Do I go with the 'T3' ? I'm planning on putting stock turbo on as I'm looking at getting it high flowed. Thanks a lot guys.

Thx for link.

Hey guys. I brought a manual boost tee and it says on the instruction manual to connect one hose to the waste gate and one to the 'turbo nipple' now I've had a look and I have no turbo nipple. I've got a full stock R33 Gtst series 1. My brother has a 32 Gtst and his is connected to the wastegate and throttle body. And his seems to work. Can I do that too? Cheers.

Can I not just use the brake? Haha auto life

Hey guys taking my R33 Gtst up to the drags in the very near future. Just looking for tips to make car run faster. Just small things. Not simple stuff like fuel tyre pressure etc. I'm talking skyline stuff like removing 2 stage boost etc. Its auto btw

Hey just got a stock S1 R33. I'm looking for a cheap ecu upgrade just like plug and play just until i get more money for a decent one and get a tune. How are 'Mines' Ecu's? Also auto and manual have diffrnt ecu's right? Can I buy a used one and plug it in and drive? Or is there more than that? Cheers guys. Appreciate the help.

Intercooler Install On Stock R33 Question
AshR33Gtst replied to AshR33Gtst's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
With the blitz return flow. Does that hook straight up to existing stock pipes? Meaning do the pipes from the IC go to where the sidemount existing pipes are? -
Hey all. I got a stock R33 S1. I'm looking at putting a front mount intercooler on. Now i know I will have to do some grinding. But my question is do i have to hack up the front bar as its stock? Cheers

Ehh. Not really helped a lot with performance views. Just wanting to know a decent turbo to run at the drags. Maybe I'll just get my 25 turbo highflowed.

I'm looking for a decent turbo for drag racing my r33 (automatic) since its a track car i don't care if its a cheap Chinese turbo. What is better for drags? Low mid or high range? I've looked at the pinned post about rb25 turbos wasn't much help. I need something to get me in the low 13s. Should be easy. Thanks

Cheers guys

So could run 10 psi full stock thrashing it at the track & drags safely?
-
10 psi. Is that before or after FMIC & exhaust? Thanks

Hey guys. I got a full stock r33 gtst and was wondering how much boost I can run stock? I'm putting a FMIC and exhaust system next week how much boost should I be able to run then? As I said car is bog stock. I have boost gague and tee. Also how do I know what boost I should be running without a tune or anything? Cheers

Hello so I've brought a R33 Gtst. My first ever turbo car. Im looking to get it around 350 HP at the wheels. Now I've been doing a bit of research and I think I've found a good list of parts I need to make this possible. Just want to see what you guys think before I blow all my money. (Car at the moment is bog stock. Car is also automatic. I kind of want it for drags and circuit. I know manual is better but my daily is manual I wanted something different) Parts: -Intercooler -Turbo smart boost tee & Boost guage -Nismo 555cc injectors -Turbo gt3037 (do I need better?) -Apexi power intake -Walbro 255 L/PH fuel pump -Low mount & dump pipe -R33 S2 AFM (Or Z32?) -Lightweight pully kit -And a tune (what's best tune to get). This car is a track car so not ever going to be road legal so dont mind if I have to straight pipe or what ever. Would that be enough to make 350 HP at the wheels? Or would I need a few more upgrades. Money isnt too much of an issue but would rather keep it below 2-3k. Cheers guys

The line that runs down to the T piece is from the boost controler . I'm not sure how that's ment to work. Guy I brought it off told me to do it that way?
-
Its a dual stage boost T. I understand what you mean about needing a restrictor in the middle but how I've hooked it up seems to be the only way? Maybe I'll just buy a normal boost T and hook that up seems a lot easier.

Hello so ive just brought my very frist turbo car (r33 gtst) im learning fast but I still need some help now and again. Ive just installed my Dual stage boost-T and car seems to run sweet, but cant really test it till I get a boost guage tomorrow. Now I know this has been asked LOTS, but trust me ive posted in forums and searched the net, but ive found nothing. So my question is: is this hooked up correctly? Thanks heaps would really love some help.
