  1. Decided to have a go today and wing it. Got the part out to have a look, turned out to be pretty easy. The black plastic pin is broken so the metal bracket thing that pivots (theres a little metal spring/coil thing attatched to it) has slipped out of place. For anyone having the same problem the part is the Door Lock Actuator and the part number is 931001. Not sure if the passanger side has the same part number. My car is an ECR33 GTS25t. Sorry for not being very technical when it comes to describing things, I'm learning as I go. Hope this helps anyone in the future having the same problem!
  2. Having a bit of a problem with the lock mechanism on the driver side door. The part of the mechanism that the metal rod goes down vertically to behind the metal panel bit isn't pivoting properly causing it to only half lock. Does anyone know how to remove the mechanism so i can get a better look at it and fix it? Had a search on here and skylineowners.com but can't seem to find anything. Thanks
  3. Yeh, thanks guys. Will be a couple of weeks before the sensor gets delivered but I will update with the outcome when I get it fitted.
  4. Ok, will give that a try. If anyone has a spare one lying around, let me know :]
  5. I'm not sure to be honest, I figured it was at the speedo end because it worked intermittently for a while when I would bang the dash then eventually stopped working all together. Is the sensor on the gearbox breaking a common fault?
  6. Hey guys, new here. Bought an R33 a couple of months ago and the Speedo has recently stopped working. I put another cluster in and it didn't solve the problem. From what I've read on here it looks like the wires need re soldered into the back of the plug? Was just wondering if there is anyone in the Perth/Mandurah area who would be able to help me out with this as I'm not good with wires and will probably screw it up. I can bring the car to you and you would be paid in currency or beers, which ever you prefer :] thanks.
