Lucky to have the best of both worlds 03 rex heavily modified and gtr33 my pick for the open road and the occassional track day you cant go passed the gtr.

The track was Oran Park south circuit running RE55 tyres. Car is stock besides an exhaust running 14psi only running 233 atw. Best lap time was 52.5 i was happy with that considering that was my first attempt on a race track of any kind. Maybe i have other issues besides the pads?

Thanks for the advice guys. I have just come back from Race Brakes and they have assesed the pads and beleive that they have failed due to overheating. A full flush was done when the pads were installed so they ruled out the brake fluid. Whit haze on outer edges of pads this meaning pads have exceded there temperature limit, they should no. They have recommended Ferodo 3000

Had my first track day last weekend all went well except for the brakes. After 6 laps brakes decided to fail. Iam using dot 5 fluid and have RB74 all round. What pads are you guys using as i think i might need some pads that will be able to take more punishment.

As a new club member and and my first time on a track i still have a grin from ear to ear. I would like to congratulate John and his team for organising such a top event. It was scary when i found out that i would be out with race cars but having some great tips from some of those instructers that were provided and my confidence growing iam hooked. Cant wait for the next one.

Thanks mate just concerned if diff was ok what are the advantages or disadvantages of the locked diff

Its always been there but was under the impression it was the exhaust it make that noise yes when doing a u turn inside wheel feels like it is locking as well

Hi All Just recently bought a R33 GTR and have noticed some noises coming from the diff. At first thought the noise was a loose exhaust as it sounds like something rattling. The noise is mainly happening up and down driveways or taking off on an uneven road any help would be great.

Hi Everyone its been 3 weeks after picking up my GTR 33 and still smiling as i am new to the Forum you gurus could help me out .This morning while driving to work encountered some loss of power it was almost as if i had lost all boost. Decided to pull over and turn car off re started car and all was well has anyone else experienced this any help would be appreciated.
