talk to the guys at envy imports www.envyimports.com.au the guys there were really good, and the chick sounded really hot on the phone. when i was looking at my r33 i was on parra road looking at 180sx's i wanted to take one for a test drive and the guys there wanted a 20% deposit. i was like u have to be kidding. ok ill take my 20k somewhere else thank you very much.... no commission for u !!

i did a level 1 driving course with ian luff. hes a total knob jockey but the course was fun. I reccoment that you do the second one, becasue the first one is just stopping and stopping while braking, very basic. i hope that everyone already knows to pump the breaks and not lock them up...dam u abs boys. i think it was at oran park in the skid pan. one of the guys there sounded like he was constantly sucking on a helium balloon i couldnt take him seriously. If u need help to organise, or want me to get some info for u, im sure i have it in my room somewhere...

this is what i know correct me if im wrong: the reason why mods as illegal is becasue they are not standardised and could be dangerous to you or other road users. eg if u have new shocks or springs that havnt been engenerred they "might" stuff up and kill u or other people on the road. If u get them engineered they say that they are road worthy and wont "stuff up" and therefore you cant get defected for them. so in a nutshell they are permits for modification.

true, but u cant get defected for a pod, if its been engineered. use a silencer

the only reason u get defected is becasue the part isnt legal. by gettting them engeneered it makes the legal and therefore u cant get defected.

im going to try and save up and do everything at once, like pod, zorst and chip and then get them all enginered at the same time, save abit of money.

why dont u guys get ur stuff engineered ? im sure it would cost the same as getting defected once

people are going to crash cars and die no matter what sort of education or training u ging them. and some of them, a small fraction will die driving high performance cars at extreamily high speed down roads that wernt ment for that speed. its a fact. even if u took away all the cars on the road and made people catch trains, trains still crash and people still die. Its very sad that people die, in car crashes. i was a lucky one. i was going too fast down yanko road in the north shore and crashed into a telegraph pole at about 100KM/h, with 2 mates in the car. this was in a 1.8L NA car, a subi impreser gx. and not a week later there was nother person on a bmw that killed himself on the same pole that i hit. unfortunatly he wasnt as luck as me and my mates. Although this was a extramly tramatic experiance, im glad i had it because it taught me more that i could ever read in a stupid 50 page book, or what ever i could learn on a skid pan, and that is dont excead the limits of the car or the road. skylines are made for speed, but sydney roads arnt. And until people experiance this in their own way, either finding out the hard way like i did, or some how reading bout someone elses crash, accident will never stop happening.
