where in the engine bay man under the fuse box or just wires near what etc?? cos the engine bays get really hot normally especially if there is a turbo there with no heat shield around it etc

I think the vacuum hose blew off the back of the gauge, that would make more sense. Especially if both the gauges died i just dont get it hey if its not resolved by the weekend. i will come round if thats cool. and maybe we can go through the wires and the lines.

the big box is your HICAS computer from what I am aware

ecu is not in the boot its in the passenger kick panel under the glove box and to your left, just under the factory flare in that panel it comes off quite simply and then the ecu sits there. i dont see why the gauges both died at the same time, because if the dash one is electronic then yeah maybe a wire problem, but if the blitz one is dead thats weird cos its a mechanical gauge. the vacuum line is all that is involved in making it move. which means the car is not providing a reading to the vacuum line, which means the line must not be connected. i dont get any other explanation

Why would a factory boost gauge stop responding. And second why would an aftermarket boost gauge stop responding And third why would they both stop responding at the same time. Anyone? Seems to be the latest dilemma with Mikes skyline. (13 devil) I would like to know if anyone can tell me where the factory gauge gets its reading from. I am assuming that the vacuum line has decided it doesnt like its current job but if that were the case would the car run normally (13 devil, please confirm if the car is running normally) any help peeps RiaZ

It is for a series I so no second hole for the airbag on the series II $55 for anyone who wants it. Its a moulded dash mat and is unused and black as well. Fits friggin perfect. Keep that dash cool in summer. go no lone, dont need mat catcha RiaZ PM if you want it. You can try it on the car etc first. Stock airbox as well if anyone wants one for $30 NO SNORKEL.
