  2. Car on its way to Townsville. Just had a major service at Gavin Woods AUtech, ALL fluids (Engine, diff, gearbox, brakes, coolant), tune up, fuel and oil filters, new NGK Platium plugs. Mechanic commented on car being in great shape. Just paid rego till April 2007
  3. Car being shipped to Townsville on Wednesday next week, last chance to take a look this weekend if your interested.
  4. As good as the endless hey? Interesting. Maybe I'll give them a shot at the next track day.
  5. I've been catching busses and public transport for 20 years, I have never been in an accident.
  6. Loan not approved, sale fell through, car back on sale. DAMM!
  7. BUMP. Car will be shipped to Townsville in 2 weeks if it does not sell before then. Price has been dropped.
  8. Car is still in Brisbane so BUMP.
  9. *deleted* read rest of thread.
  10. Hey hey, I'll be coming down your end of the planet for this, I got tickets for both sydney and melbourne, looks like I'll be seeing them at the Gold Coast BDO as well! Bring it on!!!
  11. Plenty of tyre kickers... no reasonable offers yet... so... Price drop for my last two weeks in Briz, $17,000
  12. Do not use 2000 series on the track they do not cut it. Get the 2500. It would be unwise to skimp on brake pads at the track, It will cost you a lot more than the $110 difference in repair bills when you hit a tyre barrier due to brake fade.
  13. Just laugh and point when some dick head says something, I've found nothing pisses them off more.
  14. I'd rather buy a F1 car then build my own track to drive it on.
  15. what simon said, mod for mod, $ for $ no way your going to get a rb20 to beat a rb25 or 26. But sure spend stupid amounts of cash and you could probably "beat" a stock GTR.
  16. Now on Carsales: http://www.carsales.com.au/pls/carsales/...&state_id=4
  17. Removing the HICAS was one of the best mods I made on mine for track work, makes the car a whole lot more predictable and therefore easier to drive at the limit.
  18. So many experts... So little time...
  19. I don't know the part number but just ask the supplier your going through for the right pads for your car, they will know what you need.
  20. Yeah, I'm sure they would find something, they are really picky about bullship things, I still have the RACQ report from when I bought mine, all it had on it was "wiper blades inneffective (they seem to work to me), brake pads noisy, headlights discoloured (which was easily fixed by the way) and oil in the inlet" - which is a completly bullshit fault - they are designed that way - it is cam cover scavanging system, even new cars will have a bit of oil in the inlet, that is why people buy oil catch cans. I can tell you what they would say: "wiper blades inneffective and oil in the inlet" and they would probably mention the modifications - which are all legal. There would probably be a few things I have not noticed, it is a 11 year old car. Ultimatly it is a very good car - especially for its age. Good luck with that one dude, make sure you see those recipts.
