wouldnt the wastegate actuator stop it from going over a set psi regardless of the size of the exhaust?

Hi does anyone know where the return air tubing from the stock boost solenoid goes to? I have a bleed valve installed and I want to check if its been blocked off or not but i cant find the tube. I have a feeling that whoever installed the bleed valve has just pulled off the tube and left the hole unblocked. if anyone has pics it would be much appreciated. Thanks!

hi i was wondering if anyone else has experienced this problem and how they fixed it. I have just installed a new head unit and two new front speakers and i have noticed that the left speaker is louder and clearer than the right side. When i set the balance all the way to either side you can really notice the difference. the left speaker is much more clear and louder than the right. Ive connected the speakers and head unit correctly and cant work out what is causing it. any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

hello Ive got an autometer sportcomp boost gauge and it makes a high pitched noise when i hit peak boost. It sort of sounds like a hiss but not exactly. Has anyone else experienced this or have i got a leak somewhere? Thanks

The rb25 has a solenoid as standard. before a certain amount of rpm (~4500rpm) the boost is kept to 5psi and after 4500 rpm it goes to 7psi. if u have a bleed valve installed (and fully closed off) you will bypass the solenoid therefore keeping the boost at 5psi. i also thought the wastegate spring was a 7psi spring but its not. im pretty sure its a 5psi spring, the solenoid bleeds off some air after ~4500rpm to reach 7psi. i thought there was something wrong with my car when it was only running at 5psi then i found out what the story was. if u dont believe me do a search....

if the car has a bleed valve installed which is closed off completely the boost will be 5psi. (cos the stock solenoid would have been bypassed). this is what happened on my car but now it runs at 7psi after i wound back the bleed valve a bit.

oh ok i thought so. so that means the flat end is the outlet, right? thanks

hello all ive just bought a genuine nissan fuel filter and was wondering if someone can confirm which is the inlet and outlet pipes? the outlet pipe is on the side of the fuel filter with the ridge, right? im just making sure cos theres no arrows on it or anything and ive got an aftermarket one on the car atm. sorry if this sounds like a stupid question. just wondering if anyone else gets a loud pop/bang noise when u accelerate to redline? is this just the rev limiter or is my car stuffed?

whats the best way to adjust a bleed valve anyway? ive just bought my car recently and it has one on it but i haven touched it. its supposedly set to 7psi but ive never really seen it go past 5psi. im thinking that the bleed valve is closed completely and seeing that the solenoid would have been disconected im just on low boost all the time.

hey ppl, i was just wondering if ur supposed hear a bangpop noise when u rev to the rev limiter ? when i accelerate hard in first i get this noise when it hits the redline. is this normal? Thanks

i got this weird metallic rattling noise after i changed the coolant....hope i didnt stuff anything up.

ive just flushed out my radiator and put new coolant in and was just wondering how long ur supposed to bleed it for? i let the car idle for about 10mins with the bleed screw off. are u supposed to let the car run until no more coolant spurts out or just until it stops spewing out frothy coolant? after i let it idle for 10mins it was just occasionally spurting out coolant. is this the right way to do it? what do u mean by active? doesnt the wastegate only open when boost reaches a preset level eg. 7psi? can someone give me a clearer explanation please.

hello ppl ive heard somewhere that boost will increase slightly with a pod filter and exhaust upgrade. is this true? how is this possible? wouldnt the wastegate stop the boost from going over the standard boost level?
