I put mine where the cat would be. only been in use for 10-11 months. Was verified as accurate when new on dyno. Had car on dyno for touch up the other day and gauge was out by 0.8 afr. Showing leaner than actual. In fairness I haven't calibrated it in about 5-6 months, laziness. I will re calibrate it soon and see if it improves. Other than that, no issues but once it did get stuck in heating mode, lucky I realised and shut it down and it was fine after a restart. I have a suspicion that if I didn't catch it in time it would've fried itself.

Not hard to change at all. Even as a first timer, should be able to do it in under an hour. Oem or splitfire is what most people on SAU generally recommend. I will agree with PW that $1500 is ridiculous. I would never go back to whoever quoted you that.

Just had the car retuned properly and it appears the old walbro was indeed on the way out. Now the shape of the map is a lot flatter, idle is better than ever, throttle response feels sharper and more importantly the car made an extra 12rwkw bringing it up to 260[emoji3], not bad for a HG 21u h/flow turbo. AFR is rock solid now across all gears and plenty of extra fuel available for e85 goodness.

You have broken the plastic basket at the bottom (easily done). You can get a replacement from a shop that sells injectors. You will probably have to take the injector there so they can match it. I wouldn't run the injector without the basket.

The reason the hid's are removed is because they don't meet the ADR standards (toss, toss) for being self levelling and having water spray jets. Silly as it sounds, that is the reason because in Australia we know more than the rest of the world. You should ask the compliance mob to give you the globes and ballasts removed from your car if they did indeed totally remove them.
