Ead josh. 3 days ago you where going to part your car out. A week or two ago u where saying you where undecided on what ECU u wanted. I have merely stated what most people are thinking and really haven't been negative in any other way. Since your being a tool. Maybe u should refrain in making negative comments in the posts u make and then people may give what you say the time of day. You're the one with the dream build mate not me. My car is done, nice, simple and reliable. If you want to keep pouring unnecessary money into your 5k gtst with its sludged up RB25 I'm not stopping you. For the record I did say the max looks like a good ecu, maybe u need to learn to read yourself. So u can ead an f off yourself Mr sick Kent.

That's bloody annoying but at least you found it in the end and on the plus side it was an easy fix.

Yes any good tuner should be able to tune it but it will take longer being a first time tune and getting to know the software which will ultimately cost more and finished tune may not be spot on and require further tuning, costing more again. When tuners have a lot of experience with a particular ecu they know the ins and outs, potential issues, bugs and how to correct them. Since you like the Maxxtuning ecu so much, why don't you take the plunge and put your money where your mouth is and show us all how good it is. For me it makes no sense when we have so many locally supported companies to choose from and if I was gonna build a no expense spared monster setup I would be going Motec and it wouldn't be on a r33 gtst. The end.

There is a 3rd party android app call adaptive tuner as mentioned by trex. I use it via USB but it can be run through Bluetooth with some additional hardware, I have heard the speed isn't great. There is also another app I recently stumbled upon called adaptrackit. Its more like a race dash screen sort of thing.

It does seem like a quality ecu but as already said, no tuner experience or support in oz. Until a few make their way here and get some support I can't see many people being interested. Also we are already spoilt with choices of good quality units and some that plug in. Haltech, motec, adaptronic, autronic to name a few. My budget adaptronic has the ability to be plugged into my phone for data monitoring and logging. I use it very rarely although it can be a very handy feature.

Oil Cooler Recommendations For R34 Gtt?
admS15 replied to V28VX37's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
I ended up buying a kit today. Vulture Motorsport eBay spec kit with relocator but no thermostat. Very similar to just jap kit. On clearance at the moment for 204 for 15 row or 194 for 10 row. I went with 15. Quality looks reasonable. I'll throw it on as is and if oil temps are too low for normal driving I'll try covering the cooler or just get the greddy tstat. Hopefully will fit it soon. I'll keep you posted. -

I have also been looking into this and want to retain the original filter position. Greddy thermostatic non relocation sandwich plates with sensor bungs are available for 190 + post through garage 7. I was thinking of sourcing a half decent core and mounting it, making some dummy hoses with old garden hose and then get a hydraulics place to make up proper hose and fittings in the correct size. My 2 cents. I'm sure others will chime in with their setups. -

Nice of the workshop to put up all the details. I reckon Scotty has already started collecting the parts. Lol;) -
Try Brendan from vulture motorsport. Also known as pec. Sau trader and on eBay. I've used a couple of his el cheapo o2 sensors before and after 24 months no issues.
