  1. Good to hear u found the washer. Must of been a big relief for u.
  2. yep stick only,
  3. That exhaust is porn . Going for a tug now
  4. coz then they pick something out that is a rwc item and is gonna cost you 10 times as much. lol
  5. In other news, I dropped the rear suspension about 35mm on the 33. Its now sitting slightly lower than the front. I decided on leaving the front as it was for the sake of the front bar, wouldn't want to break that beautiful carbon fibre. I haven't had a chance to take pics yet but I will post as soon as I do.
  6. Had a busy weekend collonite waxing the workhorse. Came up beautifully. Just gotta do the wifes car now and ill be set for a few months
  7. My Volvo after a bath.
  8. Wastegate stuck open or turbo died.
  9. Try get him to sort out the idle hunting b4 u pick the car up. Could be, dirty iacv, coolant sensor, air in cooling system, vacuum leaks, coil packs to name a few things. Have u had the car properly looked at and comp tested? Wouldn't want u to end up with another lemon:) P.s everyone is a nice bloke when they're trying to sell u something.
  10. ^fair enough. Thought it would've of picked up a bit more with -20. That turbo obviously needs a lot to get going.
  11. U made the right decision. Hope u got enough cash to buy a half decent car.
  12. Pretty sure u wouldn't get 210rwkw with a stock rb20 turbz either.
  13. As I said. Mechanics want to make a buck. They will more than likely try make u spend money on something in my experience. On older cars there are so many things they can pick. For example 1 tried to make me remove the shocks to replace the bump stops and rubber boots because the boots where cracked.
  14. ^^How many degrees ign retard was that with?
  15. It is possible a stock turbo could last 3 years @16psi if it hasn't been getting thrashed constantly
  16. Would have to agree with the above. Nissan stamp but starts spool at 3.5, some sort of high flow core. Some turbo builders put a tag on their cores. See if u can spot one. A boost controller will def help bring the boost on earlier and harder.
  17. If its the difference of $500, just pay it. It will be unlikely that u will get a rwc for less than that and also save yourself the time and hassle.
  18. I don't know what you guys are on about. The AFR gauge was verified as accurate while on the dyno. The remark made by the tuner was it is 'spot on'. The innovate uses a Bosch wb sensor as a lot of these gauges do. The key is to follow the calibration and install instructions. It is also the gauge recommended by adaptronic to be used in conjunction with their ecu. If you want to spend unnecessary $ on a marked up haltech unit for your $5000 r33 gtst then be my guest.
  19. best way is to find a car to buy with rwc supplied. Just about all mechanics out there will want to make a dollar off you whether your car requires any work or not. In general if the car has good tyres, brakes, all lights working, seat belts undamaged, windscreen undamaged, headlights aimed correctly, no oil dripping onto the ground and no illegal mods then you should be ok. They usually charge around $150 for an inspection and certificate, you then have the option of fixing any defects yourself, having the mechanic or someone else fix them for you and then returning the car within 7 days for second inspection. Much easier to just purchase a car with rwc supplied. Don't ask me how I know
  20. Managed to crawl out of the driveway at work with only a minor scrape. I'll try and refine my exit strategy tomorrow and hopefully I can make it out with out scraping so then I can lower the front some moreB)
  21. ^^bead city. ^There's always time to realise your dreams at a later date.
  22. Bit of an update, Dropped the front end about an inch or so yesterday. Looks heaps better, although another inch lower would be great. Made it up the driveway at work ok, just got to see if I can get out this afternoon without destroying my front bar. Fingers crossed. If all goes well I may try lowering it a touch more and then adjust the rear to suit. Here's a couple of crappy pics. The Achilles 123s tyres seem to be doing very well in wet or dry. Really have to punch it hard to break traction in the dry. Only negative is they are noisy farkers. The collinite wax is doing it's job awesomely as well, the water is beading off the paint like water off a ducks back and the paint still looks clean after the water has dried
  23. Vaginal gap?
