  1. Just get them flowed as they are newish and only get them cleaned if required. Flowing is around $8 each, cleaning is around $25-$30 each. Cheap injectors can all of a sudden become pricey buggers.
  2. Good to hear they finally did the right thing for someone with this issue. You did well.
  3. The tuner had no issues with them. The idle isn't silky smooth but it never was in this car. I doubt its got anything to do with the injectors as they'll sit on afrs of 15 at light cruise no problem. They're good injectors even if they are old tech and can't be beat for ease of install.
  4. What injectors did u go with
  5. It is but its probably the best option for the op. Its easily worth more in parts, obviously there is time and effort involved. At 6k its an attractive proposition to some, I can't see too many being interested in paying too much more.
  6. ^Thanks dude. Wideband sensor is on the front pipe just in front of the cat, I'm still running the OEM one in the factory position and that gets used while the wideband warms up or fails. I'm not running an air sensor ATM which apparently is a big no no but the AFR seems to be fine whether its cold or hot but I will be installing 1 soon just in case. Im thinking of putting it in the crossover pipe just b4 the throttle body.
  7. Has a what on it? Wtf
  8. Ok fair enough. I incorrectly assumed it was a atr43 coz of the ss2 wheel.
  9. OK but didn't richo upgrade to a bigger turbo altogether? Atr43 I believe or am I mistaking.
  10. What grade oil do u use? Possibly try something thicker specifically for worn engines.
  11. Coz u didn't double clutch it like u know you should. Lol.
  12. I'm not sure that upgrade is actually required. I'm not having any boost control issue with my hi flow and I'm not awaren of anyone else having boost control issues but if you want to offer it for free, I don't think anyone is going to argue with you as long as it works properly.
  13. I'm with GTRPSI if someone offers you 6k after looking at it. Take it quick smart.
  14. Doesn't sound too good. Will definitely be interesting to hear what they say. They've recently released a newer version called rsrr. I wonder if the problem has been fixed with those.
  15. Today also marks 3 months of ownership. She was definitely pampered today.
  16. Just need to drop this biatch on her belly now to get rid of the 4x4 stance and she'll be one sweet looking lady.
  17. Mine too. I'm never gonna use anything else again.
  18. The weather took a turn for the better so here are some photos after collonite application. This stuff Is amazing and so easy to use. Thanks to hadouken for posting about this stuff.
  19. I had the same issue with my rsrs. Federal usually tell people that they are OK to run like that and will only replace if the de laminate. Wtf. I know of others that have run them like that and reported that as they wore down the cracks wore away. I ended up selling mine off. Let us know what federal says and does.
  20. It is unfortunate but at least he's insured and your car will be fixed. Just make sure they fix it properly.
  21. Melbourne weather has been shit so far today. So waxing with collonite is on the backburner but I managed to sort my traction issues this morning. Got a set of Achilles 123s tyres fitted. 265/35/18 all round. I know there's much better tyres around but @ $150 fitted each I couldn't go past them. If anyone wants any, import monster has a limited supply at this price. First impression driving home in monsoon like weather is that they're pretty good in the wet. No unwanted wheelspin unlike the falkens that came off. I was 4 wheel drifting around corners this morning without trying to. I will update about the performance of the 123s as I drive on them.
  22. Collonite will have to wait. Melbourne weather is shit today so I just read your whole build thread instead. I like the way you've gone about everything. Kept it simple and effective. None of this ott bullshit. You've gone as far as the cars purpose requires. Well done. That paint is immaculate. You are one lucky prick. Factory paint ftw.
  23. I will after its done. You may need to come down to Melbourne with your SLR coz I can't take photos for shite. Lol
