Even with that shitty compression the engine should still start and run. (will probably be rough). If it was mine, I would persevere in getting the thing started, just to get a bigger picture of the overall condition of everything else and then making a more informed decision on wether to fix or part. As said a hg is your best hope and may or may not be the issue. I have replaced one before, it is a time consuming job but not all that difficult, there are plenty of guides online and if u can get someone with some mechanical knowledge and tools to lend a hand it is very do able.
Ouch. At best a head gasket or incorrect operation of gauge, at worse broken ring lands, cracked pistons, scored bores, cracked cylinders, bent valves, the list goes on.
I'm in the wouldn't worry about it boat. Put it back together drive it. If it overheats start to worry then. If it runs fine but it still bothers you, flush the system after its been pressurised a few times. If it still bothers u after all that, light up a stick of dynamite and move on to your next car:)
^ive got the 21u highflow on mine. Made 248rwkw @18psi with a quiet restrictive nismo 3 inch exhaust and return flow cooler. Full boost @ 3450rpm. Tuner says could make 10-15kw more with better fliwing exhaust.
Really tempted to go for a catback exhaust with a varex twin tip muffler...but that route is quite expensive compared to various other catback options.
If you can get your hands on a nismo exhaust, that will give a nice note without being Ott and breaking the bank.
^This.
If I had a GTR sitting on my lawn, i wouldn't of been able to let it sit for 5 mins without trying to work out what was wrong with it. You've had the patience of an ignorant donkey for 3 farken years, a little longer isn't gonna kill you. You should really try and get someone with some sort of car knowledge to give you a hand b4 you make a shit situation even shitter. Good luck with it, I hope u get it running without too much hassle. Just being real.
^you gap them down yourself using a feeler gauge or one of those $1 supercheap spark gap tools they sell at the counter. Anyways, just buy the .9 ones and put them in as is, they will be fine to get the car going.
For your aim of 200rwkw none of that is required. A new pump would be good but that 1 is a bit big for your requirement. Retune for 12psi and target should be met or close enough. The stock afm can flow around 220rwkw or so. The z32 you linked looks legit but I have been warned away from that particular seller buy a prominent tuner that got sick of trying to tune cars with that sellers dodgy z32's. When buying products like that, you're better off buying from reputable companies. E.g kudos motorsports, just jap and so on. Intercooler upgrade would be advisable but not totally necessary.
Looks to be the goods. Haha national debt. Good luck with finishing it off. Your not too far off. Interested to see final result. I'm a big fan of the td06, should be awesome on e85.
According to ADRs and other stupid rules your apparently not allowed to fit a rim greater than 1" width and 1" diameter over stock. Sigh. I guess that's why most of us keep a set of some sort of stock rims just in case. but hey who could be farked getting defected.
