  1. I see no problem here for an engine with 250k + the unknown jap windback kms. Unless it's not performing right or blowing huge clouds of smoke, just turn up the boost and send it.
  2. ECU's are boring. Coke and hookers are where it's at. @Dose Pipe Sutututu can probably hook you up with plazmaman stuff and other parts you may need as well as advice. Pretty sure he had 370rwkw with stock in/ex manifolds.
  3. Power fc Keep it and spend the money burning a hole in your pocket on hookers and cocaine. Lifelong memories right there. You're welcome 😉
  4. I don't think so as the value has risen due to market conditions and they know this. When i originally took a policy with them and wanted to be insured for a higher value, they just asked for lots of info and photos to assess the state and condition of the car. They agreed without any argument.
  5. OR Choose your poison, then flog on marketplace/scumtree. Always looked after, never thrashed or raced, only selling due to upgrading to billet block. Blah blah blah, i know what I've got..
  6. A bloke on another forum I'm a member of reckons he made a claim with enthusiasts and has no complaints with the service. Unfortunately I don't have any more details. Im happy with them so far. I pay $75 a month to cover my R33 @ 19k and my Mini Cooper S @ 9.5k. That is for 5k km with the Mini and 3k km per year with the 33. That works for me as i hardly drive the skyline any more and the Mini is used to drive to work and back. Coming up to renewal time soon, will have to up the value of the 33. We'll see what happens with the price.
  7. Yes the 350z rotors will fit r32/33/34 with your calipers
  8. V35 skyline and z33 350z also had brembos with 14mm bolts. These type of brembo are almost the same as r33 but use a rotor with a different hat height.
  9. I've never done it but seem to agree with hardsteppa. Removing lca's and cross member VS complete engine and associated bits I reckon I'd go option A. Option B sounds excessive but as i said I've never done and not talking from experience.
  10. Couldn't agree more. After going from a 22 year old box to a brand new one, it wasn't quieter at all to the ear. Yes that's right, wasn't (past tense). Said new box went to gearbox heaven prematurely.
  11. No one has said it yet, Just send it but seriously don't, get the oil analysis results and let that decide the course of action.
  12. Only dealership can change the clock time. Was due to millennium bug concerns.
  13. Twin screw all the way. The noise is fantastic. Whine and V8 roar, how can you go wrong. Driven maturely, it "should" hold together pretty good.
  14. Rda7117 plain rotors are under $200 a pair https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/153258736466 I've used them a fair bit for track work. They hold up alright and i replace them once they develop lots of little micro cracks.
  15. Lets face it, the gearbox is at least 20 years old. It has wear and tear. Just leave the oil in there. I used lw shockproof in my old box for a few years. Synchros didn't feel like they got any worse, eventually 3rd gear broke but that had nothing to do with the oil. FYI, i bought a brand new rb25 gearbox and when the oil was cold it was a little notchy going into 2nd gear. Pretty normal for an rb25 box imo.
  16. Anything can be "made" to fit anything direct fit.
  17. That's awesome but must be on LPG and being a wagon would add to it's glory. Just imagine the roofline extending to the top of that spoiler and then a massive wing above that.
