  2. They're not too bad at the traffic light Grand prix either. Quatro launches have surprised quite a few.
  3. I followed in the footsteps of fatz and bought a Q7. 160k km for $12k. Tows like a boss, has air suspension that keeps it level. Going off fatz's reliability testing i should get at least another 170k out of it. Time will tell, so far up to 175k without issue and pretty happy with it.

  10. Don't know about that kit specifically but after buying a 2nd hand box, rebuild kit and labour costs, it may not make economical sense considering new gearboxes are around 3000 - 3500 aud. There is also a lot of parts in a 2nd hand box that may be worn and not incuded in that rebuild kit either. Unless you know what you're doing and rebuilding it yourself, probably not worth the hassle and uncertainty.
  11. In my experience, the answer to these types of concerns is always twin turbo LS1 2 or 3. You'll learn your new car very quickly in the above configuration.
  12. Going out and chopping some M2/3/4's will make you feel better.
  13. Doesn't look too bad. Stress to your insurer that you would prefer repair. Otherwise try to strike a deal to purchase back and repair privately. Hope it all works out good for you.
  14. Please do and post video. I really like straight pipes out through the bonnet. Looks and sounds tough as.

  16. Everyone gets those, not sure if favourites though?
  17. Gtsboy's estimation is about right. Ultimately it's worth whatever a buyer is willing to pay.
