Nice pickup. Sounds like it's had all the expensive maintenance the turbo model requires done too. They're definitely a hoot to drive. Mine also has a sunroof and leather, pov spec otherwise. Came with a couple little bonuses, -15% supercharger pulley, cold air box and an ati balancer. The parts car has a -17% pulley, gp model intercooler, headers, exhaust, 450cc injectors, cold air box and remapped ecu, ecu flash tool. Also has some adj control arms at the back and 3 good 16" bbs rims with ad08r tyres. Im going to transfer everything good over to mine, should be pretty potent after that. Then part out the rest and hopefully make a nice little profit. That's the plan anyway, we'll see what happens.

I recently got one of these, supercharged model, was sub 5k. Actually i bought 2, 2nd is a parts car i got for 2k with fruit to be picked. Fun to drive and you can actually put your foot down without licence losing consequences. Im happy with it but still got nothing on the skyline when it comes to smiles per rpm. Mini isn't much more practical either, but fuel use is pretty damn good.

I have a g3 high flow, circa 2016-2017. Made 260rwkw @ 18psi on p98 and 312rwkw@ 20psi on united e85. 18psi by 3400-3500 in 4th gear, makes around 10psi at 3000rpm. Pretty damn good for a bush bearing.

Well, it is pretty close to school holidays...

At least slaps spelling has gotten better. Fyi i happily use united E10 95ron in my non performance shitboxes and prefer it over 91 puke and overpriced 98. The skyline only gets the best, E85 and on the odd occasion BP 98.

If the coils are 20 years old, they're at the end of their life. Replace with either fresh oem or splitfire coils. Dont bother with any of the other coloured ones. If you can borrow a set of known working coils to verify first, that would be ideal. -

I think an engine rebuild is required to fix this.

Yellow jackets strike again.. -
Nailed it. Wakefield 2-3 times a year, EC once or twice a year will cleanse you of this modern gayness you've been preaching. Don't be lazy brah, moving cars around is easy.
-
Blasphemy. I dunno man. I've driven various modern cars but driving the skyline puts the biggest smile on my dial. Just something about them, especially on track. Also, can the Tig do skids?
-
My Q7 has them too. Toasted buns and nuts ftw.
-
Best way will be to find someone wrecking a grey r34 4 door and buy all 4 doors and front panels off them. Then get a dent doctor guy or panel beater onto the 2 rear quarters. Dat biatch be crazy brah. She dun good.

Diff Breathing a ...lot of oil
admS15 replied to Kinkstaah's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
I had a knock from the rear end. I replaced the diff, drive shafts, shocks and various bits and pieces to no avail. Drove me nuts for months, in the end i bought some chassis ears and found the problem in less than 5 minutes. Was a loose bolt on one of the brackets that connects to the subframe. I still have the chassis ears, they're just microphones on alligator clips that you attach on various points you suspect. You're welcome to borrow them, im located in Springvale south, not too far from you. Pm me if you want to give them a go.
