Yeah, it's pretty much the tried and true method. Simple,reliable and decent enough power with e85. I pretty much slapped together bits and pieces i already had and parts i was able to source for decent prices and ended up with this, worked well in the end. Ironically, the last couple of things i've done are similar to what you did recently in regards to upgrading the stereo system. I'll make a post about it when i get some time.
