If that's the case and your not after a pro finish, just do the 2 pak spray cans.
-
It would cost you more than what it would to get a pro job done and you still wouldn't achieve a pro finish. May as well go to a panel shop. Any more than 300 is a bit rich if the boot is straight and in decent condition imo.

New tyres, or your gonna be disappointed again.. I know the Dan in you wants to go quicker with what you've got first but you'll just be making yourself think your changes haven't been successful. You must fight the Dan within on this one and buy some new rubber.

New tyres for sure then and see if it continues to understeer. Take stock swaybar along and change it if need be. Its hard to determine what has done what when you've made so many changes at once but new tyres will def show you if its been an improvement and how much. If it feels better it probably is.

Ouch, did the turbo survive that?
-
No, that would just give it a higher pressure threshold and boiling point.
-
As it was the first time you've driven the car for a long time, maybe you just needed the seat time and you'll go quicker next time. New tyres, even same size/type will make you go quicker for sure, they look pretty shagged. Only you know if the changes helped. Did the car feel better than before once you got used to the new setup? Could probably soften the front swaybar if it's adjustable and not at full soft already. Personally, I would just drive it again before judging it.

For me, it's been just as good in practice as it has been on paper. As far as the tuner, you'd want to have confidence in a tuner doing anything to your car even if it's not e85 related. Since going e85, ive had no issues to speak of. I run a tank of 98 every 3-4 months, followed by a change of fuel filter. Has worked well so far. I also drive my car daily, so the fuel never gets enough time to absorb water and turn things to shit. Knock on wood that by saying that i wont be in the gregging it(tm) club.
-
Well then, your still running too rich. Approx 20ltr/h. I noticed in an earlier post you said the car runs between 69-73 degrees. Its possible that your thermostat is stuck open and not allowing the engine to get to full temp which I would expect to be 85+. The ecu could still be in enrichment mode at the temps you're at. Just a thought.

You really need to take note and work out the litres per hundred to work out if the economy really is bad or you have an over enthusiastic low fuel light. For example in my skyline at the empty line I still have 25 litres in the tank which is more than 1/3 of its total capacity.
-
I reckon they should be able to take that for a while longer. There only a month or two old aren't they. Maybe start a new thread about it and see if others that have experienced similar can steer you in the right direction of the cause. Cheers.

300km thank you very much. No cold start issues here, even on freezing cold mornings. Getting the cold start crank and post crank settings right is the key to cold starts on e85. Flex fuel = best of both worlds.
-
I must agree since i also have a highflow. aka - best skyline turbo ever, lol.

When you pulled the original factory bushes out, what condition where they in?

How many litres did it take to refill the tank?

R34 GTT front brake disc recommendations
admS15 replied to viper2002's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
I agree with GTSBoy on the SR brake pads and would recommend plain RDA rotors. They are cheap and stand up to a reasonable amount of abuse on street and non serious track work. -
How many KW has your new EFR setup made?

Reapply over the pinholes and sand down again. Lightly sand the whole boot with 800 grit to knock any shine off. I would primer coat the whole thing and then sand with 800 - 1000 grit wet and dry. Preparation is everything. If the surface is shit, it doesn't matter how well you paint it, it will still look shit.
