  1. Seems like the 2nd clip posted above isn't showing on mobile so here it is again. Shiiiitt...
  2. Yeah man, that was not a save. That was just really good luck. I had the wheels steered to the right until the car came to almost a stop and then turned them left to steer away from the fence. Was just a passenger. I think I figured out the limit of me, the car and that turn, Lol. The reliability dramas have been occurring, hopefully I get on top of it by the next time I take it out. I'm stoked with the time, car has more in it, I missed 3rd gear coming on to the straight on the fast lap and had a pretty bad exhaust leak. Overall, very happy.
  3. It's been a while since i've updated. I've done 2 more track days, both at sandown (it's close to home). The car has had a few little tweaks, rear ride height was raised 15-20mm , rear sway bar set to stiffer spot, front sway bar 1 position stiffer. The first track day was run in this configuration, the day started well and the car showed potential almost matching my pb on the first flying lap but it was not to be, the rest of the day was a struggle with intercooler pipe dramas and misfire at high rpm. Fast forward and some splitfire coilpacks where purchased and fitted, as well as some intima type d pads, i tried running 1mm spark gaps but that didn't work out so i settled at .8. Hit sandown again yesterday and again had issues in the morning with misfire, gapped the plugs to .7 and all was well. The type d pads took some getting used to compared to the sr, i found they needed a heat cycle to actually start working well and required more pedal force, with that said they stopped bloody well. A new PB of 1:24.30 was set in the 2nd session, 0.7 faster than previous PB as well as 2 other laps under that before more intercooler pipe dramas surfaced. I need to go through all the clamps and replace them all as they've seen better days. There was also an odd noise coming from the turbo area throughout the day. Turns out it was an exhaust leak as i worked out this morning when i cold started it to drive to work. Hot side will most likely have to be removed to fix. Damn cars, lol. Video of fastest lap and a bit of a shit my pants moment, i'll just leave this here.
  4. As far as brakes go, unless your doing a lot of track work, the standard setup with good fluid, pads and air guides for cooling work well. They work well on track too but the pads won't last more than 2-3 track days. If you decide on staying stock, try intima Sr next time around. They will provide better bite and fade resistance than your current pads Edit. If you get serious about brakes, you may want to go bigger than 350z brembo, something like hardsteppa got (ATTKD brake Kit) from just jap. Although significantly more than 1k.
  5. E85 I get 270-290km per tank (60-65L), general mix of daily driving with some cruising and some squirting. P98 I was getting around 400km per tank give or take a bit depending on heaviness of right foot. On the track with E85, 1l per kilometre isn't far off the mark when going full noise constantly. Agree with Greg about united violent price gouging, went from 119.9 to 139.9 in the space of 2 weeks. Carnts. I have flex but reluctant to poor 98 in. Stock RB25 with highflow, nismo 740cc dinosaurs making 312rwkw btw.
  6. Same here, android app not working. Deleted and re downloaded app, now no permission to login.
  7. Put the stock reg back on if it's not the problem. The turbo squealing noise is probably the flange gasket. Have a look where the turbo bolts on to the manifold for traces of carbon around the flange.
  8. I'm not at a pc right now but the rocker cover was from amayama uae. Is the vq30det the same though? Shouldn't be hard to find with the part number. Some bright spark obviously drove that bolt through but it wasn't the source of the air leak in the end. The air is now weeping through the seal around the plug but strangely no oil.
  9. Leak still persists. Im not going to worry about it for now as there is no oil leaking into the spark plug chamber. The car drives perfectly fine and when i did a boost leak test it was taking a long time for the boost to bleed out of the system. I have ordered a new pcv valve in a last ditch effort before i ignore this. Im not totally convinced that it's the rocker cover seal and don't want to buy a new cover and find i still have the same issue. Im wondering if there is something else going on in the background that im missing, is that pressure meant to be inside the engine? Im sure that time will tell all, till then i'll just keep driving.

    Nismo R35?

Love the fact your actually using it for its intended purpose [emoji106]
  11. Have used the launch function on my adaptronic probably about 30 times, no damage that I know of has occurred, yet (stock rb25 around 300rwkw). If used sparingly with cool downs before attempts to launch the risks are reduced. Cant comment on the settings for haltech or the rally style anti lag.
  12. Yes it would, i'll put my hand up and say I've done it. There is no harm in trying to swap them around and check if the problem goes away.
  13. Lol [emoji16] I think that Steve guy might have something to say about that.
  14. Dynabolts work well if all else fails...
  15. You won't be disappointed [emoji106]
  16. Can't comment on fp3 but the sr for the price are fantastic. I had zero noise, low dust compared to a1rm and we'll priced. Also stood up well to track abuse. For your application, they are more than enough.

  20. Great ad and will be sad to see you part with this after all the time, effort and money gone into it. In the best possible way, I hope it doesn't sell unless you truly are ready. I feel that you haven't enjoyed this car as much as you should have. Good luck anyway and I suppose we'll see what the future brings. It better be Nissan [emoji3]
  21. I'll be that guy "buy them" . damn if you bought them 2 days ago you could have got 10% off using the c10 code.
  22. I've seen what happens to cheap coilovers way above this price point (broken inserts and clickers that do nothing, blown seals, knocks etc), so it's very unlikely these will be much better. I'm happy to be proven wrong but don't you think if these where any good, people would have caught on, bought them and be giving you glowing reviews right now like some other China parts. Anyway I'm looking forward to your progress and review of these. Good luck[emoji106]
  23. What are your times at Wakefield just out of curiosity?
  24. No, I'm in Melbourne, plenty of guys your way. I don't know what you're trying to achieve here. You asked a question and don't like the answers you're getting. That's fine, it's not the first or last time that's going to happen. Go buy them and then let us know how good or crap they are. You may want to compare them to good oem shocks rather than the flogged out stuff you have now. Following topic for results and review.
