Yeah nah, you need more RB in your life but I won't argue against a C63 either. Do both, lol

As above, unless you have money to burn. I have gtt brakes on mine, they work well and fit under the stock axis 18 inch wheels, just. Caliper has a few mm clearance to the spokes.

Hey guys, need an iacv for my 33, pulled mine off the other day for a clean but the diaphragm is missing a chunk. If anyone has a spare complete unit in good condition lying around pm me. I'm in Melbourne but willing to pay post from interstate. Cheers Bill

Since its all fixed, why not go back to e85? Checkbuzz runs a gt3076 52t with return flow cooler on e85. Makes 320rwkw and full boost at 3200 rpm. Yes 3200 rpm. I would expect that figure to rise a bit with a quality cross flow cooler. I run an old blitz lm return flow on e85 and highflow 21u making 312rwkw. Air temp even at the track never goes over mid 30's unless ambient is above that. After a run I have touched the inlet to the cooler with was hot enough to almost burn, the outlet was cool as a cucumber. So they do a good job cooling but I believe flow/pressure loss may be the limiting factor. Keen to see results of this experiment especially on 98.

Im not familiar with the software for power fc and not sure if the ac could be disabled from there, maybe someone else can chime in there but when I had a similar issue with my ac compressor not kicking in, it turned out to be the thermistor which is a temp sensor that sits in the ac core and tells the compressor when to turn on and off. Was just a bad contact on the plug. cleaned it, put it back together and has been fine since. This particular plug can be accessed by removing the glove box and backing plate, it is mounted to the top left of the white box, Its a bit tight but reachable. Should only take 5-10 mins to get to it and check. As far as the ecu goes, maybe give your tuner a quick call and ask.

Clutch not disengaging
admS15 replied to brod14's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
As above. Looks like your going to have to remove box to find out. I was in this position once and was also reluctant to remove box , when I finally did and starting unbolting the pressure plate, it rained broken clutch plate on me. I guess it didn't like 2nd gear burn outs. -
I'm going to go with wastegate issue. Needs more preload or stiffer actuator. Top end is dropping to 16psi. If it could hold 20 you would probably make 285kw on 98 and that would be around the expected power for the setup. I run an older type blitz return flow cooler also with just a high flow 21u and there is no issue holding 19psi flat to red line. A conventional cooler would be better but it still does the job pretty well. I'm also running a crappy Nismo exhaust, car sounds like a vacuum cleaner on steroids.

Car starts puttering after reaching certain oil temp
admS15 replied to IM-32-FK's topic in General Maintenance
This is very true and I agree. In this case gapping the plugs down is a good way to determine whether the ops problem is spark related or elsewhere. Analysing the condition of the plugs can also help to determine the offending cylinder. -
Angryrb's Project Series 1

Wow, was wondering what was happening here. I'm surprised you waited this long. Does said tuner have any reason why your car is being neglected? -

I think the answer may be yellow jackets. Try gapping your plugs down to 0.8 and see if it stops the problem. Try putting some lube on the threads of the plug that is tight and then work it gently back and forth and hopefully it frees it up. Good luck. -
Help determine what engine i have
admS15 replied to Blak3's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
Looks like a neo rb25 turbo . The I'd plate says rb25det. That service sticker says 25de. Don't know what's going on there but it's def a turbo rb. -
Also don't forget to get decent brake pads and fluid. It's important to be able to stop when you make your car quicker. Intima Sr brake pads are the current hotness that people are using.

Air flow meter. You will require 1 when aiming for above 220rwkw using a nistune or any air flow meter ecu. Google would have yielded the same sort of answer. There is so much info online about skylines. You should spend a bit of time researching and you'll get an idea of what needs to be done. Try and concentrate on the more current sort of info.

There is a nistuned ecu for $350 and a z32 afm for $150 for sale in the for sale section right now. That would be a good start and cheap. I think it's proximity who is the seller.
