  1. My bud also says once the box has been repaired and upgraded on the early models that they are then fine. An early model that has been repaired and upgraded would be an ideal buy, I would think.
  2. A guy I work with has had all variants of gtr over the last 15 years. He had an 07 R35 and an 12 R35 which he just sold. The 07 gearbox failed just out of warranty and he said it's not a matter of if but when it will fail. He sent the box to willall racing in SA and had it fixed and upgraded for around 6k. The 2012 box was fine. He says from late 2010 on the box issues where fixed. He had no other unexpected issues with either car but he only drove them on weekends and didn't track them either.
  3. Try Jesse Streeter
  4. What company is the receipt for the the high flow from? An upgraded fuel pump is a must. If your only going to use 98 unleaded, a hardwired walbro 255 will be fine. For E85, a hardwired walbro 460 or DW300 will do the job. I would suggest some modern top feed injectors, 1000cc would be good for future head room and they still idle perfectly from what people say. Just stay away from cheap shit high flowed/re drilled junk injectors.
  5. If the battery tray has had a hole cut in it for the intercooler piping. This can create headaches. Vic roads will want you to get a engineers certificate.
  6. $5.02
  7. Yes we do. Lol.[emoji16]
  8. What was Pb with gtr?
  9. Sounds like a good plan[emoji106]
  10. If you have to ask. No. I assume you are referring to an R35. Just some food for thought. New discs and pads will set you back around 5k when they need replacing. Early r35's had transmission issues. If it breaks your looking at big dollars to fix that. The same rule that applies to any gtr applies here. If you can't afford to buy 2 then you can't afford to run 1. VQ37TT 370Z ftw[emoji3]
  11. So you where offered 40k and didn't take it,someone said you could get 70k. What would you actually take for it?
  12. Waiting in anticipation of angry dyno vid and then skids[emoji106]
  13. Lol, dosepipe is on drugs today. Turn boost uppppp...
  14. Factory boost on an m35 is already 12-13 psi. Since you've got dump and exhaust it's probably running a touch more. Maybe you should add a proper boost gauge first
  15. This is truly an immaculate vehicle. Glws but at least put a price up. Better to overprice it and say or best offer than not put a price at all. At least that way your add will remain up.
  16. The pressure is also going through the air flow meter backwards. The ecu sees this as additional air flow and injects more fuel. On some cars with air flow meters this causes stalling problems on others just rich running, unless the ecu has been tuned for it. Try unblocking and see what happens. Im sure dosepipe will correct me if im wrong
  17. unblock bov and see if problem goes away.
  18. I hear Fat Al may have 1. Lol
  19. Welcome sucker [emoji106]
  20. The characters on the id tag sounds like "Allied Signal" which was a genuine Garrett distributor of some sort I believe.
  21. With -45°, hectic antilags on. Bang bang pop. Full boost uleh[emoji106]
  22. Thanks for that. I'm tempted to buy a set and store them until my current tyres finish up. Hmm....
  23. What size is that for?
  24. Good stuff mate. Nice MPH. Whats going on with the launch, wheel spin city or bog? I reckon if you throw some proper drag tyres on that thing, et streets or similar and get a perfect launch, you may even crack a high 10.
  25. I vote cheapies. EBay spec ftw.
