Yep theres an amp and you will need a converter. I used a pac audio one.. oem-1 i think? Its was a few years ago so dont quote me on that model number...

http://engine-codes.com/p1320_infiniti.html lists it as a possible cause. The gscan has a code book built in and lists it as well. Id be betting its coilpacks but its just something else to keep in mind...

Yea just recently fixed the same issue 2 weeks ago. Depending on it the cars showing an issue makes it easier to diagnose (mine was running rough) so i started checking resistances of coilpacks and found no 4 stuffed. But your right it can be the crank angle or a few other things... Unfortunately just have to start testing things with a multimeter...

Mines been playing up and im about to grab a new one. If after genuine amayama have australian stock 22680-6n21a for $110 + postage.. if you look up the original number the price is 5x that for some reason.. the replacement number above looks to have been used by people on here with sucess by searching the forum. if in more of a rush justjap have genuine stock for a few dollars more but still cheaper than half of the ones on fleabay...

If its the nissan alarm with 2 internal entry sensors and the key fob the siren is above the TCU in the passenger footwell, from memory just remove the glovebox and you can just unplug it. The alarm module is above the accelerator pedal you can unplug this as well to stop the red light flashing.. Again from memory its attached to another module for the fold in mirrors and such so make sure you unplug the correct one. Its not an immobiliser so removing it doesn't affect anything...

Yea iv got just the ss2 apparently... There's only 1 of the new type built so far for evaluation so it should be interesting to see the results....

How long has stao had this out? I just got my billet high flow 2 weeks ago off him but he never mentioned it was new? It looks to be the same unless he's changed something I can't see in the pic....
