  1. lol that is true, at least all the mixed reviews will be in one place.
  2. Hey guys, my rotors have had their better days and are due for a change, actually that worn that they can't be machined. I have a track day coming up and don't want to risk it with those brakes flying down a straight at 200. I've read mixed reviews on all rotors, just wanted to see what everyone thought. What rotors would be recommended for slight track use but mainly a daily. Note my budget isn't the greatest ! Car is a R33 gts-t Thanks in advance
  3. Yeah should be around $15-$25
  4. Oh geez, that's quite comprehensive. The main thing I'm worried about atm is probably the oil, I don't have a cooler or a oil temp gauge. But I'm changing my radiator to a 42mm alloy one, radiator hoses, new coolant, new pads, machining discs, new brake fluid, overfilling engine oil and just checking all the rest
  5. Thought it may help in cooling if everything's constantly flowing, but if not may as well leave it.
  6. Also what do you think of running no thermostat on the track ?
  7. Hmm, well the car isn't being tracked a lot, just on the odd occasion. Reckon the 42mm should do fine ?
  8. How much clearance did you have when you put the 42mm in ? Enough for a 52mm or just stick to 42 ? Thanks
  9. Also, I've checked and yes it will fit a 32
  10. I didn't know, that's why I was asking Ben. We didn't put it on the dyno, just plugged the laptop in. He said it was down a bit, not enough to feel any difference though so I imagine a few kW ? Awesome, I'll take off the belt then and drive like that on the track day
  11. They also used some weird stethoscope looking thing which led them to say noisy bearing. Is driving without the AC belt harmful in anyway ? I have a track day coming up and just want to make sure
  12. I'll take the belt off tomorrow and check. The timing was turned down this morning, and after a whole day of driving the highest I got was 50, other than that it was about 10, and only once so I guess that did help.
  13. No the belt wasn't pulled off. When the AC was played with (on, off) the noise would change, going really loud when it was on. Should I pull it off ?
  14. Ah sorry my mistake, well that's good I guess. After tuning the timing down the high readings did mostly stop so could be a combination of both I presume ? Best change the pump then. Thanks heaps
  15. So my knock sensor was going crazy the past week or two, hitting values as high as 140-150 but sometimes staying low, never anything really consistent. I took it back to the tuner and on the way the AC pump started to make heaaappss of noise. We bumped down the timing a bit to reduce knock, but the tuner was saying the AC pump being on its way could also contribute to the large knock. Any validity with this statement ? Thanks
  16. Should I change the thermostat while I'm at it or no need ?
  17. That's awesome, perfect guide. Thanks heaps
  18. Anyone know if any cutting will be needed or the radiator will just drop in ? On a R33 gtst
  19. decided to change the radiator for both aesthetics and to be on the safe side. do you recommend without or with the fans ?
  20. I've got the stock radiator on the car at the moment, will it suffice or do I have to upgrade ? Thanks for all the other info.
  21. Hey guys, I got a track day coming up and it'll be my first. Just wanted to know what I should to before to get the car ready ? Will do a full service after the day Thanks
  22. Neo it will, I'm not sure about a RB20, can find out if interested
