Hello, i have a 2004 350gt and was wondering any recommendations on where to get it done in melbourne. How long would it take and do i get a loan car? Any help would be great

Im guessing this cant be done on the v35 sadly

Hello all, My 2004 nissan skyline 350gt has an issue where it feells like the engine was shaking too much with a little bit of a shudder. When it happened the engine, vcd and slip lights all came on. So i took it to the mechanic. And turns out i needed new valve covers because oil was leaking into the spark plugs. So i got some valve rocker covers from the states he put them in along with a new set of spark plugs and a couple of new coils. Over the weekend the car was working sweet. But this morning it did a slight shudder and all the lights came back on. I managed to drive to work anyway as the shudder stopped. But the lights are still on. Im headed back there after work. Any ideas as to what the problem is?

There are a few dents on my rear left wheel arch that I want to get fixed. Im not fusses about the sticker and not very fussed about the paint chipping off. Only the dents. Pannel beaters quoted 700 which i think is ridiculous. Anyone able to give me an estimate?

ahh I see, I think I don't need to machine the rotors. ill ask him tomorrow

hey all, my 2004 Nissan skyline 350gt needs 4 sets of brake pads, I was just wondering the average cost of getting a mechanic to do so? they are just stock standard brakes. my mechanic said it would be around 600 off the top of his head, but to me that seems a bit much? what do you guys think?

Lol ya i hope they do it, but fist i need to figure out what the problem is and how easy or expensive it is to fix. Because i cant afford a pony, i could do a three legged donkey at best

really? A dealer wont do anything even under warranty? Seems a bit pointless in getting it in the first place

Its still under warranty, but im not sure if it would be covered since im not sure what it is

The noise been happening for a while. It only happens in certain revs, at the star it would happen between 1.7 - 2.2 but now also does it between 2.8-3.2. It sounds like a metal on metal sound, i guess it kinda sounds like nails on a tin roof. I always use bp ultimate but once last year used 95 for some reason. I dont think the fuel filter has been changed...

Ya i took it into my mechanic, he isnt really sure what it could be. His thoughts were either a missfiring spark plug or pinging. He said he wouldn't know until he started changing parts

Hi all, I have never used 102 octane fuel in my 2004 350gt skyline. Has anyone ever done this? Im just wondering if it could do any bad to my car? The fuel i was thinking of using is powerplusfuel 102+.
